Can't tell you how many times I've completely turned off the news this past week. As much as I liked the old queen, her post-mortem coverage has been nauseatingly overdone.

It's undignified overkill, we're not in the Victorian era, after all.

Are the Conservatives forcing the BBC (whose funding they disdain) to milk the poor woman's death in order to hide bad news around another feckless PM?
