In pro-Trump ads, Trump is still “President Trump," even though he left the White House three years ago.
Not new, and not controversial.
This is how everyone who has served as president is referred to.
wallace
Trump on Saturday praised fictional serial killer Hannibal Lecter “as a wonderful man” at a rally in Wildwood, New Jersey.
dagon
But only one of these had his ethnicity, nationality, and spirituality questioned and defamed.
And ironically he was the most skilled and competent.
Michael Machida
I'm not a Don lover by any stretch of the imagination, but you have to admit, he knows how to work the less brilliant Americans to get votes.
Scary!

You're taking it out of context again as usual, he also said, wait until the left media hears this, it probably hasn't come to most liberal minds that Trump trolls them in the same way they troll him, he's right.
JFK was equally criticized for being Catholic.
Depends on who you are asking.
Bob Fosse
Let’s be clear, believe me when I tell you, the majority of Americans preferred Biden. That’s why he’s your President and the former one isn’t. Goes both ways, don’t get me started on pendulums, republicans are the last to talk about something something half the country smh.
Wow, this is easier than I thought.
1glenn
By any definition, he is the former Con-Man in Chief.
bass4funk
With now what we know over the last 4 years, not really
Multitude of reasons why?
And?
What is?
wallace
Many spectators at Trump's New Jersey rally left before he had finished. Bored I expect.

"Words Matter"...indeed they do...
"The late, great Hannibal Lecter is a wonderful man," Trump said, referencing the 1991 film "Silence of the Lambs."

That’s with anything, concerts are like that as well and for many reasons, many more came. Just look at the massive wide camera Ariel angle shots.

The real truth is that Trump was never the true president, he was NOT elected by the people but placed in office by the corrupt electoral college. He LOST to Clinton by over 3 million votes. And this was not the first corrupt election, Bush jnr was not elected either.........and look what he went on to do.
bass4funk
Hogwash.
It wasn’t corrupt when Obama won it twice??
We don’t go by the popular vote. If that were the case you’d have a one party rule.
Here we go….in other words, only Democrats get elected fairly, right? Lol
Strangerland
The only reason trump was able to win in 2016 was because of the enquirer catch and kill stories, and then trumps election interference that he’s now on trial. So it places a big question mark on that “win”. Especially considering he lost the popular vote.
wallace
Felon X-president.
Jimizo
It is a huge question mark.
It is also worth remembering that Trump claimed massive voter fraud in 2016 which deprived him of winning the popular vote.
Given the extraordinary level of corruption of the 2016 election, I don’t see how Trump or his supporters can think his victory was legitimate.

More like President political Martyr
Well, after watching the hearings and The whistleblowers testimony by so many, seems like things weren’t as the Dems said it was.
A bit off there

bass4funk
You are entitled to your opinion but I'll stick with mine.
bass4funk
Seems like a lot of people were yesterday as well. Would like to see a Biden rally like that.

The topic

bass4funk
Political Martyr, the left helps in mysterious ways.
John
“Adjudicated rapist and fraud”
”Soon to be convicted felon”
”Narcissist Sociopath”
Any of those would be accurate.
wallace
It needs to include the title "ex-president" otherwise, people won't know what you are talking about. No one on his staff will be referring to him as "President Trump political martyr."
bass4funk
Like I just said, the left makes my argument for me. lol
bass4funk
Usually, I don’t have to say that, usually people around me know who I’m talking about.
wallace
Trump is no longer a president so we just refer to him as former president Trump just like all those before him.
wallace
Trump considers himself a cut above all former presidents.
bass4funk
In many ways, that’s true depending on your outlook.
Norm
Former Prez Sir Don Shartzalot.
wallace
It would be false.
On this site, Trump is ranked 41st.
https://www.c-span.org/presidentsurvey2021/?page=overall
On this site 45th
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Historical_rankings_of_presidents_of_the_United_States
Trump ranked as the worst US president in history, with Biden 14th greatest

A government sponsored news site, you kidding me?
Ok, and now Wikipedia is your new reliable news source?? ROFL! What not just quote the NYT.

there are numerous sites on the ranking of past presidents. Can you post one with Trump in the top ten?
Wasabi
How low the US can go thanks to this guy?
John

bass4funk
I was never interested in a Presidents popularity, if that were the case then I would have voted for Obama. I care what a President can accomplish and Trump has done just that. 280 accomplishments.
Well, look at what this guy has done over the last 4 years, doubt Biden will get a second term.
wallace
The ranking of the former presidents is also about what they achieved while in office. Like this link which puts Trump at 41st. Obama 10th. Only three rank lower than Trump.

If the left think so, fine by me. When Biden can fill a stadium with over 80-100k people I’ll shut my mouth.
John
The stadium had a rated capacity of 19k. Trump lied. Oh, and they started to get bored of his schtick and left early.
Trump got bunk done in office. He was easily the least effective president of the modern era. On that, historians are united.
BertieWooster
Is that really the choice?
A dubious used car salesman and a geriatric who doesn't know what day of the week it is?
Can't a country of 300,000,000 plus people put up anyone else?
