Tania, if you really believed in climate change you would be against mass human migration because their transportation releases immense amounts of greenhouse gases. Also, when they are living in a more industrialized society they will release more gases.

The strongest opposition to Trump's pulling out of the Paris agreement was not science, but Wall Street. Wall Street had been betting on continued changes in the economy, where new industries would taking over. These new industries were to be subsidized and financed by largely by the government itself, and Wall Street could have raked in large profits while shouldering little risk. Tesla has a higher stock value than Ford, and Tesla's investors have done very well indeed. All this despite the fact that Tesla has never earned even a single penny in profit from sales, and that their current level of sales is entirely dependent on the $7500 per car subsidy it gets from the taxpayers. Investors and Musk become rich, the taxpayers subsidize this wealth, and assume a great part of the risk, though the vast majority cannot afford to buy a Tesla.

Funnier still is how climate change has been fought. Exactly much less CO2 do you create when you drive a Tesla? The metals required for the batteries and electric motors require a great amount of processing, which generates a large amount of CO2, as much as would be created by driving a gasoline-powered car for 8 years. And even funnier is that if you live in an area which burns fossil fuel to make electricity (like nearly all of Japan right now), the amount or CO2 created to recharge your electric car is greater than what a gasoline car would produce, often many times as much.

Climate change is not being used as much to create policy and products to reduce CO2 emissions (like "biomass", or wood chips being harvested in America and Canada, shipped across the sea to Europe to power electric generation plants, but these wood chips meet the definition of "renewable"). It is corporations and their paid politicians using climate change to rig the economy in their favor.

Ground breaking theory : immigration causes global warming ! Applause

@sangetsu03

I didn't know that driving a Tesla was the only way to reduce Co2 emissions...

And even funnier is that if you live in an area which burns fossil fuel to make electricity, the amount or CO2 created to recharge your electric car is greater than what a gasoline car would produce, often many times as much.

Then, changing every source of electricity to renewable would be the right move, don't you think ?

It is corporations and their paid politicians using climate change to rig the economy in their favor.

You mean oil and coil companies denying climate change ?

I don't really see it that way as much TBH. There's so much happening in the world today that lumping them all together would only reduce their potency and undermine each cause. By focusing on NK as the prime crisis in the world today he has focused the world's attention on them. I would say NK's silence since the UN speech has spoken far more volumes

Trump’s silence on climate change, human rights and Russia speaks volumes

I'm sorry but I don't think he really cares about those things.

America uber alles, it seems.

The silence on Russia is no surprise. The man will lead the world to nuclear conflict if it means distracting from the "Russian thing".

Wealth, women, and power are his goals. Anything else is just a means to an end.

the author of the, article is clearly confused. trumps speech was about real international issues primarily around the, UN itself and the left wing wannabe world government. he's right, nations cooperating will achieve peace, not a socialist UN world government. he did mention human rights, the fact the UN council on human rights, the thing made to protect rights is filled with a variety of countries from the middle east, north Africa and central Asia who to this day, openly have slave industries and commit horrors, against women yet are on this council of human rights hypocrisy. there is nothing to mention about Russia. red Putin took Crimea, arguably Russian, yes he is interfering in Ukraine. because Putin knows the, UN is potent, trump knows there is not much you can do with a country holding 10000 nukes. China also, may be an antagonist but is not with mentioning, when the real problems, are socialism and and islamic government and groups. Russia imaginary meddling in a us election is just leftvwing nonsense, why mention that. so called climate change is a financial scam, sorry author but there is no science there to deny, and certainly no reason yo mention it. what is truly irritating authors like this one and the rest of the left wing is, trump called out the scam their UN really is and explicitly described left wingets vaunted socialism for the destructive failure it really is. the left wing ideology of socialist tyranny was exposed with reality, something the left never thought would happen and this is truly what is upsetting the left wing and the entire government class.

The entire world dislikes Trump, and will breathe a massive sigh of relief when he finally vacates the White House.

Could you explain what you mean?

when the real problems, are socialism and and islamic government and groups

How is socialism a problem, exactly?

Russia imaginary meddling in a us election is just leftvwing nonsense, why mention that.

It's clearly not nonsense and the US is not the only country to have it's elections influenced/meddled with.

so called climate change is a financial scam, sorry author but there is no science there to deny, and certainly no reason yo mention

Climate change is happening, it's not a scam. Silencing environmental agencies is not going to change that.

the rest of the left wing is, trump called out the scam their UN really is and explicitly described left wingets vaunted socialism for the destructive failure it really is. the left wing ideology of socialist tyranny was exposed with reality, something the left never thought would happen and this is truly what is upsetting the left wing and the entire government class.

Absolute bobbins. Perhaps focus on the tyranny of unchecked capitalism and the millions who have died and suffered under that ideology?
