Yes off course everyone will continue to commute. Not everyone has white collar jobs. In fact, the vast majority of people do not have white collar jobs.

Those with white collars may or may not, depending on their company policy.

We can look back to the 1918-1920 pandemic for reference. After a few years of abject terror, things returned to normal. The 1920s were called the Roaring 20s over here, perhaps because people were so enthusiastic to once again get together and celebrate life.

Of course, that’s natural to human beings to move around. You can’t and also won’t stop that. What do you think why on every continent and in every corner of the planet live people, and not all still concentrated on that only one first tree in Africa or so? Exactly, they are walking or running around, riding, driving, flying, exploring, discovering, traveling, commuting....lol
