Trump called people like her the “suburban housewives of America,” and tried to appeal to them by spreading fear about Black Lives Matter protesters, crime and low-income housing.

This is the language that has been used to divide Americans and keep them from realizing their actual enemies are the plutocrats exploiting the populace, not immigrants or those of other races.

OK, try it out now, with your Biden, Harris and all other Obama-copies , make a ‘great’ U.S. only consisting of immigrants and ‘other’ races... How many days would you bet, such a country needs to sink under the surface?

I am a supporter of neither Biden nor Harris. Let me guess, you may think another leader who is currently on his way out has the capacity to make the US "great" again.

You seem to believe immigrants and "other races" bring down a country and that is part of the problem. Dig deeper.

Identity politics is a failure.

Such as white nationalism.

Biden had a historical win and landslide victory.

Don't get sloppy with facts. Mr. Biden had a solid win but nothing historical and certainly not a landslide. Ronald Reagan won 49 states and 525 Electoral College votes in 1984 against Walter Mondale. That was a historic landslide victory.

She went on national television and said she was ashamed that most of her own relatives were among them.

She is shocked that she has become estranged from some of her family members after having denigrating them on national television? How about keeping your problems in the family and not trying to embarrass them?

The current divide in America is completely the fault of Progressives. They are attacking the nations very foundations - freedom of speech, religion, Constitutionally protected individual rights, and slandering all of the progress the nation has made until now through it’s retrograde race and identity politics. The Black Lives Matter movement is making racism cool again in America - to devastating effect on national unity. Biden is openly advocating for a new set of raced based policies - guaranteeing that people will be resentful again just as they were under Obama’s racially divisive administration.

As Biden said the future is dark - because of people like him.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

Such as white nationalism.

Yes - just like white, black or Hispanic or whatever nationalism - it’s all bad. If you are not for the government enforcing color blind public policy, you are a part of the problem.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

What holds America together are two docile and non-aggressive land neighbors and two huge oceans.

Biden had a historical win and landslide victory

Which is debatable.

The nation has been divided for a very long time and it started with the last president as he injected identity politics and gender politics into every issue, that was the catalyst and the beginning of the division within the country, the Democrats have done everything to hold onto power and when you look at states like California and New York, you can see clearly the damage over the years and what it has done more specifically, what their policies have done to destroy the two greatest states in the country there are a lot of questions about this election and they will go away. Biden will be sworn in as the next president, but the country will be more divided than ever, because you have half of the country that will never except this election or his presidency, just as you did not have the other half of the country excepting the results of the last election and this current President and I don’t think that there is anything that can fix it.

Trump uses and still applies the doctrine of fear to get people on his side. There are many in America that are to easily scared, they fear anything they do not understand or things they do not like. Autocrats and Dictators use the same rule book. Divide and conquer. First Trump did it within a Republican party that laughed when he first indicated he would run on the Republican ticket. Nobody took him to seriously until he began his divide and conquer. He won the Primaries and the began on the nation. He lost the popular vote but he targeted his fear at the states most open to it. Trump won 306 EC votes and a stunned Democratic party finding it hard to grasp that Trump had won against the polls and experts predictions.

Now after four years of Trump harping on the fear of the people, telling daily lies and hiding some truths that should have been made public (not the only president to do that by the way) he plays on the fear of an American public that the election was rigged against him. That Democrats somehow stole an election but he showed nothing provable that could be taken to court to back it up. Conspiracy theories are a good way to stoke fears. Americans must learn to look for themselves and not take leaders words as a given truth, especially when it is easily proven that the leader lies more often than tells the truth. A scared public can forgive almost any crime if they feel protected and safe. Trump failed to provide that due to his handling of the pandemic and yet 74 million Americans are still taken in by the Trump show.

Biden will try to unite as much as he is able. He certainly has enough experience in US politics and has the respect of at least some high ranking Republicans. If Trump remains on the sidelines spewing fear creating conspiracies it will be harder to bridge the current divide.

The US is at its very best, at its most lethal and at its most influential in a skeptical world when it moves together as one. Being divided and having two side blaming each other for all the problems in the country does nothing to fix anything and does nothing to Make America great again. The US and the world need an America that is united right now. Trumps biggest failure was using fear and shunning a united people. His tactic got him in the door but failed to give a second term. Biden needs to include the right Republicans in this government and make it a place for everyone to be heard, have a voice that gets listened to and create a bipartisan environment so the Nation can heal wounds that seem deeper than anyone thought.

Trump called his election victory in 2016 a landslide, so I guess Biden who won both the popular vote and the EC votes outdone him. Definitely, an historical win for the popular vote.

Ok, we have a disagreement on the outcome, you can believe that, I don’t.

Trump a Proud Boy has divided the nation

It wasn’t the proud boys that rioted, looted, burned down businesses, assaulted snd attacked police and tore down the statues in all of the major cities of blue states.

The Democrats started with the division 8 years ago and continued on to not accepting this President from day one and to oppose him and get rid of him and that continues to run its course and will continue to divide this nation unlike anything we have ever witnessed.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Biden will try to unite as much as he is able.

And he won’t succeed.

He certainly has enough experience in US politics

47 years and his history regarding that is less than stellar to but it kindly.

and has the respect of at least some high ranking Republicans.

The establishment which the majority of conservatives don’t like. There isn’t any establishment Republican that could get 88 million followers, not one. Even David Gergen, a very smart man admitted to that point. No Republican at this point and time will get anywhere even close to that number and that is why establishment fears Trump, because wherever Trump goes his followers go.

Don’t know if the country will ever get back to what it once was before 2009 but Biden is definitely not the one to bring calm to the divided nation nor Harris especially as well.

The nation should be divided. It's too big and dysfunctional. Divide the country into thirds to a more manageable population of about 100 million each and people should move to the place where they think all the smart people are, and stay away from the place where they think the dumb people are.

The red state Bubbas, the bleeding heart liberals and the normal people who don't care about constant political nonsense can each have their own place to live.

Diversity does not sustain a society, it divides it. That's the root of the word. Societies, rowboats, motorcycles and all team sports succeed when people have the similar goals, not diverse agendas.

You even try to justify a racist antisemitic white supremacist group

Never, but liberals never want to acknowledge or even talk about the destruction rioting, looting, the dismantling of statues, the call for abolishing the police, that was done overwhelmingly by Antifa and BLM in all the major cities and blue States, the Dems and the media tried to justify it, the Dems were silent for the longest time on the issue, don’t even go there..

Members who wear shirts with Nazi insignia. "SMWE" 6 million Jews wasn't enough.

And where was the violence? How many buildings and police did these so called people kill? What was the property damage across the country by them

The Proud Boys have frequently been at the center of violence during the last two gatherings of Trump fans in DC. Members of the group searched DC for people to fight or harass and ripped “Black Lives Matter” banners from downtown churches.

So how many and be specific. Because I can tell you factually what Antifa and BLM have cost the nation.

Democrats representatives didn't riot and loot and burn down business.

No, but they said nothing for the longest time and until it started to hurt Biden in the polls.

Whites have been terrorizing blacks in the US for over 400 years, from colonial times when the first black slaves were brought over to the British colonies, through independence, a civil war fought in part to free enslaved blacks and the subsequent over 150 years where blacks have had to endure government sanctioned discrimination, poll taxes, the KKK, lynchings, police brutality whites are never subject too and all the while the threat of violence hangs over blacks in the US. But the very second blacks and their white allies push back a little bit whites fall off the hinge accusing blacks of being terrorists, communists, or what have you followed by calls to crush their movement. Crushing the movement isn't the answer and only makes the problem worse. You say you want a color blind society but what I will say is you and those like you are willfully blind and in denial about the centuries long terrorism of whites against blacks. That you blame blacks for these periodic uprisings speaks volumes about your own racism, and yes that is exactly what it is, racism.

So how many and be specific. Because I can tell you factually what Antifa and BLM have cost the nation.

Can you tell us how much white suppression of blacks has cost the US? I will bet the notion never even entered your mind that there is a real economic cost to the institutional racism practiced in the US.

I personally am not against it because nothing else seems to work. Whites are stubbornly resistant to losing their racist practices and treating those who are not themselves white as their equals. In many cases it strikes me that whites genuinely do not want blacks or hispanics to succeed, seeing their gain as a net loss to whites. I have heard this crap for all of my 63 years on this planet from neighbors and relatives. So sorry pal but I do not begrudge a rebellion once in a while if that is what it takes to effect change. Whites don't ever want to talk about the cost to blacks and hispanics for the lost opportunities their institutional racism costs them. No, never, it's always the fault of the blacks that they are poorer and lack educational opportunities whites enjoy. As Thomas Jefferson wrote:

"I hold it that a little rebellion now and then is a good thing, and as necessary in the political world as storms in the physical.1 Unsuccesful rebellions indeed generally establish the incroachments on the rights of the people which have produced them. An observation of this truth should render honest republican governors so mild in their punishment of rebellions, as not to discourage them too much. It is a medecine necessary for the sound health of government."

In other words, you trying to justify anything BLM does. Blacks weren’t the only racial or ethnic or even religious group to be persecuted and discriminated against, please don’t make excuses for any bad behavior, it doesn’t serve as a green light to seek vengeance or feel you have the right to cause destruction because you felt oppressed or that an injustice was wrought upon you.

But the very second blacks and their white allies push back a little bit whites fall off the hinge accusing blacks of being terrorists, communists, or what have you followed by calls to crush their movement.

What we endured this summer wasn’t a movement.

https://www.axios.com/riots-cost-property-damage-276c9bcc-a455-4067-b06a-66f9db4cea9c.html

Crushing the movement isn't the answer and only makes the problem worse.

I see, so in other words, let them continue rioting. Funny, they didn’t try it in Dallas or most of the major cities in Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, these people knew what would happen of they pulled that nonsense.

You say you want a color blind society but what I will say is you and those like you are willfully blind and in denial about the centuries long terrorism of whites against blacks. That you blame blacks for these periodic uprisings speaks volumes about your own racism, and yes that is exactly what it is, racism.

I am absolutely not blind at all, in fact, I am very, very aware of the issue. I think this is all just an excuse, as bad as blacks had it in the US if life was still as bad as in the 50’s and 60’s Obama would have never made it as President and while we still have a way to go, Obama proved that the US is not a racist nation, but the bad thing about The Obama administration was is that he was using race as a wedge which divided the nation and for eight years he kept on using and referring back to race and to me that was the worst thing that he could’ve done, because he did break the color barrier and then he turned around and made it as if the nation was a racist nation and that was the start of his division of the country.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

I personally am not against it because nothing else seems to work.

That statement is exactly the crux of the problem. If you can’t even acknowledge that no matter what, there is absolutely no justification for writing or looting then the conversation pretty much is ended.

Whites are stubbornly resistant to losing their racist practices

Again, if that were true, Obama would have never made it to the Presidency, never. I got the same time waits don’t want to be the target of reverse discrimination as well, two wrongs don’t make a right. This is the kind of crap that will always divide the nation and that’s so demoralizing and pathetic. I want liberals to stop using the race card, it’s the most annoying thing, A person should be judged by the merit and they should be able to get a job or into a school based on that, it should be never about race or gender, ever.

and treating those who are not themselves white as their equals. In many cases it strikes me that whites genuinely do not want blacks or hispanics to succeed, seeing their gain as a net loss to whites. No, never, it's always the fault of the blacks that they are poorer and lack educational opportunities whites enjoy. As Thomas Jefferson wrote:

but I think it’s really strange is that for all the talk Democrats make about caring about the black community, there is absolutely no evidence of that and you can see that me and you go to pretty much any black community, I don’t know single black town or city that has been under a democrat leadership that is financially well off, prosperous, great schools, low incarceration rate, low out of wedlock birth rates, low school dropout rates, kids graduating with a high school degree diploma. Which of the biggest cities in blue states in rich and prosperous states the blacks live under a democrat leadership that Is doing well and as I have previously mentioned?

...Obama proved that the US is not a racist nation...

I disagree. Trump, Limbaugh, Hannity, Carlson, Fox News all fanned the flames of racism constantly in their rhetoric against Obama. The country was a lot better off during the Obama administrations than it is now.

Did we forget the whole "he was born in Africa and is a Muslim" nonsense they harped on constantly? They appealed to the most gullible people in the US with fear tactics.

What the hell did Obama ever do to you?

1 ( +2 / -1 )

I disagree. Trump, Limbaugh, Hannity, Carlson, Fox News all fanned the flames of racism constantly in their rhetoric against Obama.

In other words, they should have allowed Obama and his administration to continue with their lies, like, “if you like your doctor you can keep him?” So FNC or any other conservatives shouldn’t have called him out for that? Of course they should have, that’s just one, they’re 80 more I can throw at you, but that’s irrelevant, the Dems have always used race a wedge and a discussion ender.

The country was a lot better off during the Obama administrations than it is now.

No, it absolutely was not. Not even close financially. Especially when it came to full time white collar jobs or even jobs for the black community.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/economy/lack-of-jobs-for-blacks-creates-tension-between-black-lawmakers-and-obama/2011/08/05/gIQAJL520I_story.html

https://qz.com/666311/why-americas-impressive-5-unemployment-rate-still-feels-like-a-lie/

All I am saying is, Obama wasn’t a nation uniter and once he started going down the race slope, many people were done with the guy.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

I think its shameful you can't condemn groups like the Proud Boys so I guess you must be a supporter.

I find it shameful that liberal don’t call out Antifa and BLM, so that means you guys supported what happened last summer in the streets.

Obama, a person of mixed race becoming president,

And yet, liberals seem to forget that point unless he’s attacked then they mention him being biracial, other than that, he’s black.

You state the riots and looters and burning were caused by BLM and Antifa, without presenting any evidence.

Look at your TV, YouTube and Twitter, it’s all there, I can link you as many vids as you want. Again, Trump supporters don’t tear down statues or burn and riot Apple Stores, I thought they were too dumb to even know what a PC is according to the left. Stop making it as if liberals just are innocent bystanders, ask Rand Paul if they’re real, you’re on the losing one on this one.

Which people from these groups have been charged with criminal cases, found guilty and sentenced?

When you wear a mask, it’s kinda of hard to pinpoint these people, but that all changed when they were being flagged and hauled off by the Feds for destroying Federal buildings, but then liberals whined about that. In other words, let them remove statues. Notice how most conservatives didn’t wear masks, they don’t need to, they don’t have anything to be ashamed of.

The poorest states are all republican. Fact checked and declared to be true.

But the majority of the carnage and destruction this summer were in the rich blue states, also fact checked, just take a ride and you’ll see.

The Obama administration was handed a bankrupt economy

And left it in worse shape for blacks, many of the larger corporations left under Obama and his high taxation and we will see that again under Biden as well.

Obama won two elections compared with a single one with Trump

And Trump will run again in 4years, but now he knows how the Dems played this game, so he’s not going to make that mistake going forward, this is why the left are nervous because as long as Trump is still out there, he’s a danger for the Democrats, not to mention a money maker.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

so you are unable to condemn the likes of Proud Boys

Will you and the msm condemn Antifa and BLM?

You are unable to present any evidence

Just look at YouTube, Twitter and Facebook. So you’re saying in the bluest of States, Trump voters by the thousands, young ones drove cars to the States where Republicans haven’t won since the 80’s, we are supposed to believe a caravan, thousands of them were Proud Boys...wow, so many minorities in their ranks, I guess they’re not the racists the left proclaim them to be.

I don't deny there were riots,

Thank you

President Donald Trump supporters were all at Columbia’s protests for racial justice in late May, according to a Columbia Police Department report released Dec. 2."

Ahh, the peaceful protests, next you probably want to say that Trump supporters want to dismantle the police force and are anti-cop as well?

But only people belonging to two of those groups — the Boogaloo Boys and gangs — were arrested after the demonstrations turned violent."

How many cops were hurt? How many Federal buildings were burned down.....nothing.

Now LA, Portland, Seattle, NY....yeah, they all looked so white judging by my 4K TV

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Court records, FBI contradict Trump's claims of organized 'antifa-led' riots in Minneapolis after George Floyd's death

I personally don’t care what the courts say, they said, Flynn was guilty and that nightmare is not over and rectified and besides, I believe what I saw on TV live as millions did. Again, literally the majority of the police force endorsed Trump and the reason for that is, the Democrats left them high and dry and still now cops are leaving the force in record numbers before this guy is sworn in. If you think the country is divided now, just give it another 6 months and wait for the stats to come out.

""We haven't seen any trend of antifa folks

Oh, yes, we have. Now it’s quiet because it’s cold, but wait until summer for things to possible flair up. Again, that won’t happen in Texas or Florida

I have presented evidence the BLM and Antifa were responsible for the riots and looting.

No, you presented an opinion piece, I go by the videos that we were watching night after night after night. I saw the evidence and the vast majority were minorities and white kids and a lot wearing masks. Ask any person that lost their business in the black community, funny on almost all of these videos, they complain about their livelihoods were destroyed by other blacks.

The Black Unemployment Rate Was Cut by More than Half During the Obama Administration

The study shows that the jobs were temporary, contract positions, or part-time "gig" jobs in a variety of fields.

Female workers suffered most heavily in this economy, as work in traditionally feminine fields, like education and medicine, declined during the era.

In the audience will be Rep. Maxine Waters (D), the California congresswoman who has been a lead critic of the president and his administration for not being sufficiently focused on the stubborn problem of black unemployment. Waters says she expects more from Obama on Saturday.

“African Americans are very proud that there is an African American man who is the most powerful man in the world, and they hold on to that with everything they possibly can, but it’s starting to slip because of the pain of the African American community,” she said
