When the media publishes an article such as this outlining the similarities between the UK election and Trump's and how this doesn't bode well for Dems next year then you know that the situation for Dems is very dire.

Recent UK, US and Oz elections, the triumph of the common sense, working class, silent majorities over media backed, elite globalists.

After a series of unexpected and humiliating defeats liberal, leftist, globalist and media backed UK, US and Oz parties have some serious rethinking to do. Do they hang on to policies already rejected by the electorate? Or do they listen to the pulse of the people and root out the extreme left cancer out of thier midst as former UK Labour Home Secretary Alan Johnson suggested?

*Labour faces civil war over the soul of the party as moderates blamed Jeremy Corbyn and the hard-left Momentum group that backed him for its catastrophic defeat.*

*Former home secretary Alan Johnson led the offensive as he branded Momentum a “cult” which he wanted to see booted out of Labour.*

Mr Johnson pointed the finger of blame for the defeat squarely in the direction of Mr Corbyn and his hard-left agenda.

I suggest they follow Mr. Johnson's advice.

Trump may be right. There is also a political realignment taking place now in the US just as it is occurring in the UK. For every state such as Virginia that switch’s from GOP to Dem, there is another state like Wisconsin switching from Dem to GOP. I really did not think it was possible for a Republican to win as many of the industrialized mid-west states that Trump carried. The trend will likely deepen after 4 years. Democrats will have to pull off a win in Texas to thwart this trend. Traditional blue collar voters are turning to conservatives as the party of labor in both the UK and the US turn further to the international socialist fringe.

@Wolfpack

What a strange phenomenon. The working classes turning against thier supposed friends, the socialists. Why?

Probably because of several reasons, loss of national identity and sovereignty to people who don't care about them, observing from history that Marxism promises everything but delivers nothing, loss of freedom of speech, identity politics, etc, etc.

Think anti immigration feelings are the real reason for the vote. Soon it will no longer be the UK but England and Wales.

The working man is probably fed up with the airy-fairy BS being peddled by the Labour party these days all to the detriment of the aforesaid working man who has always been a Labour voter .

It's going to be a landslide Trump election victory in 2020, the biggest since Reagan's 525-13 win over Mondale in 1984. Trump won't be able to beat that because he won't be able to win nutty California's 55 electoral votes. Or will he? Nah...

You'll see Trump as he really is; faithful husband, unifyer not divider, and with the body of Stallone...

And everything you see is tinged in beautiful orange...

Trump is not even worthy to stand before a portrait of the first POTUS.

The writing is on the wall for the Democrats.

The lefties are so funny... they surround themselves with other lefties and spend hours talking about the issues they think are trendy but nobody else gives a damn about.

They come with ridiculous radical policies and then get floored at the election.

But then they don't reflect on that... they don't change!!

We can see that happening now with Red Corbo's Labour and his sheeple supporters in the UK.

After congratulating Johnson on Friday, Trump said of the British results: “I think that might be a harbinger of what’s to come in our country.”

This must be fake news. I don't believe Trump said this.

He doesn't know big words like harbinger.
