AI can help − and hurt − student creativity

I have thought for some time now that AI is not a creative tool but a reproducing tool. If you have to resort to using AI you are not thinking for yourself, that has already been done for you. Yes, AI will have some wonderful uses in almost all industries and hospitals etc...etc....but it cannot build houses or roads or do any other manual tasks. And I doubt very much that it will ever be used for flying large passenger planes or driving huge ocean ships.

The harm is way more than the the benefit. Screens should be banned in school aside from a few computer literacy courses and a touch typing course.
