Trump's tactics fall short

As if everyone else's tactics have been wildly successful.

just as Joe Biden, the candidate emerging from the Democratic field,...

The Democrats are so screwed.

seems poised to take advantage of a political landscape upended by the virus.

Yeah, he's hoping for a major recession.

Who wrote this fluff article? Oh, AP. Pfffft!

"Trump's tactics fall short."

That is like saying a 9.0 earthquake is a mild burp.

Saving people no matter what their race is most important. NO EXCUSES OR TATICS are needed.

Disconnected from the gravity of the pandemic, Trump's fake address to the nation loaded with lies and egregious misinformation will only reassure the gullible. Trump's tactics will be as effective as rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. While he golfed and entertained, the virus silently spread. Many Americans are now going to die as a result of his clueless response and lack of preparation. Payback will come in November.

Jeez.  Seems nothing happens that can't be laid at Trump's door.  It's not like he is sitting in his office dreaming up weird ways of dealing with this.  He will be advised by a legion of "experts" who will be devising and implementing long standing protocols for this type of event.

Biden, now in command of the Democratic race after a series of primary wins Tuesday, has drawn a clear comparison between how he would handle the crisis and the president's scattershot approach from the Oval Office.

"At this moment, when there's so much fear in the country and so much fear across the world, we need American leadership," Biden said. "We need presidential leadership that's honest, trusted, truthful and steady, reassuring leadership.”

This was good for a laugh.  Crazy Joe woul;d likely be taking backhanders from mask and drug companies and forgetting what exactly we are trying to control.

We need test kits, and we need them to be used where needed. Not happening.

We need to drastically increase the number of hospital beds available, by millions. Not happening.

We need a huge increase in the number of ventilators available to save pneumonia sufferers. Not happening.

The lack of leadership from the White House is criminal.

"Be calm. It's really working out. And a lot of good things are going to happen."

The markets, unlike traditional political foes, have not listened.

Which must really rankle, as Trump cares more about the health of the markets than the health of the people.

The dysfunctional current U.S. administration is a disgrace.

Instead of deferring to experts and science, the current occupant of the White House insists on continuing his reelection campaign which started on November 8, 2016.

”And we’ll see what happens” is not policy, it’s utter lunacy, and We the People of the United State of America and millions around the globe are paying a high price.

I thought Trump said they were almost at zero a few weeks ago, and that there was no problem.

The whole outbreak in the US must be fake news, right righties? I mean, Trump said there was no problem, and now the fake news liberal MSM is claiming there's a problem. Right?

There must not be a problem now, because if there were a problem, it would have meant Trump was incompetent in his original evaluation, and Trump is not incompetent, right righties?

...right?

A number of people around Trump have already been found to be infected with the Coronavirus, but Trump says he hasn't been tested yet. It would not be surprising, given their behavior, that both Trump and Pence will soon be sick with the Covid-19 disease. While I do not wish either of them to become ill, if they did, then the number three person in line to the Presidency would be House Speaker Pelosi, a very competent individual.

Wouldn't that be something?
