I'm not suggested an either/or. You don't have to believe the 'other team's' polls. They were all wrong last election, probably due to the fact that conservatives just didn't want to engage with biased media anymore. They simply expressed their opinion with their vote.

What I am suggesting is that in order to regain the respect of swing voters and hopefully a few Repub voters, Dems need to cease baseless accusations like this impeachment probe and the Russia debacle, and other far left policies and present to the public workable policies that benefit the working class as they used to under Carter, Bill Clinton, etc. A workable universal health care system, a minimum wage and secure borders, respect for conservatives, etc are a great start. I would love to see the Dems do so. They might win in 2020 if they do.

You mean the results of the same pollsters that predicted a decisive Hillary win? If Dems believe the polls support impeachment it proves again that they have learned nothing and lost the plot entirely. It's almost unbelievable.

It does not look like GOPer politicians will put country ahead of party. The best we can hope for is a Democratic sweep in the elections, and then Trump tried in court for his many crimes. None of the witnesses could personally attest that Trump directly conditioned the release of the $400 million in military aid on a Ukrainian announcement of investigations into former Vice President Joe Biden and the Democratic National Committee.
