Putin can safely tell his agents...
Don't worry if you get caught.
We'll get you out.
Putin can send assassins into the West and then retrieve them out of jail.
Nice precedent set by the Dems as they desperately scramble for optics before the election they know they will lose.

Eh, it's not cash and the returnees will all be dna and biometric recorded out the wazoo so they won't be coming back on the physical front. Maybe if one of them were some sort of super skilled hacker but that is a situational kind of thing.

Depends who they assassinate. If they assassinate a US official or uninvolved citizens, I wouldn't count on them going anywhere.
There is always the fact that the MAGA is full of useful idiots to our enemies to turn to.

The perfect is the enemy of the good, but good is still good.
The best way to stop Putin is to continue to support those who are fighting the good fight to stand up to him, such as the Ukrainians.

How about, release the people you abducted or we will abduct some of your lot and feed them to sharks. They could and should have taken down Putin's regime but they want him in power to support their tribalised Cold War agenda. Governments consider us to be playing counters and toy soldiers for their games. Never trust a government, especially your own.

No, we just want to put the US first and take care of our people first as it should be. Europe should do more of the lifting, maybe give up some of their entitlements, and buildup a stronger military.
