Any vote to back up this assertion, or do you expect us to take your word for it?

My personal opinion is that Sanders is the only one who can beat Trump. Next election cycle, we will either have a President Sanders or a Second term President Trump. That's my opinion.

AGree mate.

Sanders is good, because he's not establishment. This was why many people chose Trump, because he wasn't establishment. They wanted something different. Trump turned out to be Swamp Plus+, so anyone disillusioned with him will go Bernie, out of disgust with both Trump's neo-establishment, and the original establishment.
A more establishment candidate will be less likely to take some of these votes.
And the great thing about Bernie is that he's been consistent a long time, and has probably only flipped once in the decades, for the thousand of Trump flops just in the past four years.

I suppose Pete supporters could argue Biden is siphoning from Pete and Bloomberg supporters could argue Pete is...
Couldn’t Bernie supporters argue Warren is siphoning votes from Bernie?
I suppose everyone is ‘siphoning’.

The establishment - including the Democrat hierarchy - are terrified of Sanders and will do anything (even hand the election result to Trump) to scupper his popularity.
Witness the nothing story about Castro gaining traction.
Castro was a revolutionary, who became a dictator, who eventually mellowed and even admitted (some) of his wrongdoings. But yes, he brought literacy to the masses.
Sanders was being honest and showing his knowledge of history and other nations. He's not lauding the man.

"Burn it down candidate"???? nothing like a bit of biased language.

I do not see a resemblance between Sanders and Trump. Not at all. They are polar opposites.

I took on three years of graduate school depth and paid it off myself.
I am a legal American.
I pay for my health insurance and do not feel anyone should pay for mine...I am in the Japanese health system as well and find it excellent. Why has not Sanders or any others studied the Japanese health and basic pension system?
If Sanders wanted to kill the WEP and really pushed for it, I would vote for him. If you do not know what WEP is and you think you will collect two full pensions at the end of your working career, look it up. It needs to be axed.

So you feel no one should pay for your health care in the US, but at the same time you don't mind having others pay for your health insurance in Japan, and the Japanese system is excellent?

Bernie is one dangerous kook, not only for the US economy but also our military. I agree with his prison reform ideas and a few others, but his macro view of the world and his core beliefs seem very anti American to me.

if its not so bad what he said about Castro why are other Dems attacking Bernie about it?

Erm, because Bernie is the front runner and they want to slow his momentum? I doubt they think it’s so bad.
Believe it or not, this kind of thing happens. When he was running, Trump tried to discredit Ted Cruz by posting unflattering pictures of his wife and saying his father was in on the JFK assassination.
Oh, sorry, bad comparison. Everyone with a sliver of decency clearly thought that was bad.
