The Commander and Deputy Commander of the Strategic Rocket Forces were recently fired and replaced. Generals Li Yuchao, and his deputy, Liu Guangbin along with a former deputy, Zhang Zhenzhong were all reportedly detained in June.  The story is that they were taking bribes from contractors building up China's air defense and ballistic missile / ICBM programs.

Former deputy commander of the PLAAN Wang Houbin is the new Commander and his Deputy Commander is Xu Xisheng, a political commissar brought over from the PLAAF.

China is probably the most corrupt and undemocratic nation in the world, along side NK and Russia of course. Also since this article was written, another 9 top military officials have been arrested or detained. I can only guess what for, but if it is the same reason as to what happens in Russia's military, they have been selling equipment and weapons elsewhere.

Xi, Putin, Modi- all going down and will take their countries with them.

But this is quite normal for China. anti-corruption campaigns have been conducted since 1950 almost as soon as the Party came into power, but corruption has become worse and worse, especially in the military, which is 100% non-transparent.

Corruption in the Russian military has led to disastrous outcomes in the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Probably China doesn't want the same thing happening if/when they go to war.

That's what totalitarian dictatorships do, cleanse the 'impure', always 'cleaning house' and 'weeding out the weaklings'. Hitler had his Night of the Long Knives, the Greek and Argentine fascist juntas did that, Stalin had his purges, Mao had his 'Cultural Revolution' that took the lives of zillions of Chinese, Idi Amin offed whoever scared him, Myanmar has recently done this with ASSK - they do 'internal coups' all the time, Russia now has 'screw-ups' 'fall out of windows', there's Kim of NK and the screaming sassybrat tRump throwing his stooges under the bus.

If he'd do this job for the Chinese people and quit shooting off his lying mouth like dictators do, he wouldn't be whining and bellyaching like the bully brat that he is.

Oh yeah, he's trying to put on a 'happy face' for all the world but he and his CCP toadies have crap on their faces and it's plain to see!
