What actions could really make a difference? “It’s a million-dollar question,” Lacroix said.

What action? Simple stop lobbyist move in influencing other countries government to provide billions of weapon that target innocents and genocides.

How about making arms shipments illegal?

It's intentional. The major powers want division, a cold war, and then WWIII. Nothing builds borders, silences dissent at home and reinforces the tribal mentality quite like a really big war.

Humanity never learns from the past and most people are gullible enough to be led by their politicians.

So we cycle through periods of peace when we trade with each other, and periods of war when we kill each other. The post-WWII period of peace that saw the UN function as a peacekeeper saw the power of nation state regimes eroded by the consumer economy, multinational corporations, globalised supply chains, international agreements and the internet. All of these can be trashed and flushed by war. So that is what we will have next.

There is nothing wrong with arming smaller countries like Ukraine to fend off their fascist neighbor.

-Deep divisions especially among the world’s most powerful nations have significantly undermined what the United Nations can do to help nations move from conflict to peace,

Bet me, this started when the the first black President took office and all this division started.

Get over it. Obama was not as bad as my fellow pups say he was. But see. See how how sowing all this division has spilled over on the global stage. And please do write there is no connection. Its all connected.

Central African Republic, Somalia, Sudan, Libya and Mali as examples, adding “the list is long and expanding.”

The Central African Republic has been in turmoil since a violent takeover of power in 2013. The aftermath saw armed groups conclude a multitude of peace agreements even as they continued to fight each other and launch attacks on the civilian population. US keep imposing our sanctions on these countries because Russia's Wagner group keeps undermining what progress for peace could be made.

Obamas stance during 2013 on Central Africa. The Obama administration strategy outlines four primary goals for US engagement with the crisis, including stopping LRA leaders, protecting civilians from LRA attacks, encouraging escape and defection from the LRA, and providing humanitarian assistance to affected communities.

And again why the divide? Yes I am Republican, and yes Obama I liked. Clinton too. Busch as well. I want to work with Democrats. I want to see and end to the division. I want to see an end to MAGA. I want the true roots of my party to shine through! U.N. trying to its job, Division in the way.

One thing is for sure: the US is not going to be funding Russian colonial operations.

I'm no supporter of Putin nor XiXiPee, but the UN's definition of "peace" is basically everyone letting Europe and US corporations do what they want.

If they ask you to give them nickel ore at low prices, you give them, or you get war.

If they ask you to manipulate your currency so your goods don't sell, you do it, or you get war.
