Arguments over rape and incest divide abortion opponents

You guys can't have both...you can't advocate pro-life when it suits you and not others, and throw your own beliefs out the window when it suits yourself. This is how they lose their fight, and they will. They already are in the supreme court. 16-20 weeks, aight?

Burning Bush, don’t know where your information comes from but the UN reports Finland as the happiest nation on the planet. Finland is a country where respect prevails, women are educated and autonomous. Sex education, contraception and abortion are all available and free of charge.

A society that deeply values ALL human life is a happy and righteous society.

Gimme a break. As soon as that baby shoots out of the hooha, people like you won't give a damn. You don't give a damn about the kids shot dead at schools. You don't care about those kids who can't be looked after by their parents. Are you going to financially support these kids? Will you foster or adopt? You don't like the government banning assault rifles or other people telling you what to do, and yet you seem perfectly content to tell women what they can or cannot do with their own bodies.

I don't want to ban guns and I don't want to tell women what to do. Where does that leave me?

To be totally honest, I wish abortions never existed. None of us can really know when life actually begins and there are women who consider abortion a form of birth control.

BUT I also don't have the right to tell a woman what she has to do with her body for 9 months and just like guns, people will get them anyway. Only they'd be risking their lives to do it.

Framing the discussion in this way creates a false dichotomy. The question is whether women should be allowed to obtain safe abortions on demand, not whether rape and incest alone justify getting an abortion.
