Very much a 'I love you, me neither' type of relationship from the start.

Too bad the EU didn't stick to being an economic bloc, which is what the UK signed up for and not the political superstate wanna be it is now.
Sovereign countries should be allowed to decide on such things as immigration policies. I can't imagine Japan allowing decisions on its immigration policies be made by a group of multinational bureaucrats in Singapore.

Not true, it hasn't been approved by Britain, they voted to leave. This is May's bad idea.

This article is full of mistakes. The UK, not Britain, is leaving the EU and the deal has not been approved by Parliament, and it's doubtful it will.
