Cheney is a 'status quo" politician.

Why are they still talking about this irrelevant loser, Cheney?

Trump is a political trailblazer for the 21st century. No waffling or evading the issue.

To many Americans, Trump exposed the fake MSM and the "fortification" of the election. And now, many more Americans finally realized the corruption of the FBI.

Politics, like everything else in life, evolves. What we are seeing in the GOP now is cutting edge conservatism that began to mature with Sarah Palin and is in its latest itineration in the great Donald Trump. Trump is a political trailblazer for the 21st century. No waffling or evading the issue. He’s a no holds barred straight shooter who reads the electorate well. We need more Trumps in the world.

This is comedy gold. You should go on tour.

And Palin? The 1/2 term governor? The one that made a fool out of herself in the 08 election? The lady who’s family “values” have been shown to be a fraud?

She might just lose her election in her home state.

He’s a no holds barred straight shooter who reads the electorate well.

Is that why he lost the 2020 election?

Rudy’s law license has been “suspended” and he’s not even trying to apply to get it back. So, not “likely.”

Fortunately, Don has his choice of personal injury and workman’s comp firms to choose from.

They should mesh well with his current counsel who was previously repping a parking garage company.

Alan Dershowitz says every reputable attorney he's spoken with has told him their firms 'won't let them go anywhere near' Trump

(New quote)

What is Trump going to do to get a good lawyer? Hire Rudy?

She could split the party and split the vote.

WY is a bit of an outlier in that Liz lost big AND her vanqisher is absolutely going to win.

In a lot of other races, the Cult rubes won a primary of GOP voters by a narrow margin and do not seem to be matching up against their general election opponents very well.

Of course the election will decide the issue, but it seems likely that the cult will take over the party (indeed HAS taken over) but will splat on the windshield of the general electorate that is not made up of a hoard of semi-literate rubes.

I’d like to hear from Cult 45ers what makes Trump a “true conservative”.

Plastic, I'd say that the policies are no different, just the tone. Trumpism means "owning the libs" - making things personal, gloating over triumphs, rubbing losers' noses very publicly in their defeat.

History will not look back kindly on this.

An honest republican should start a new third party which would be better than the two-party system.

“It’s just a party of Donald Trump’s fever dreams,” said Mark Salter, a former longtime Republican aide to the late Sen. John McCain. “It’s just Donald Trump’s club.”

Almost right - just change "club" to "cult"....

There is no more GOP or Republican Party - it's dead, gone, finito...in its place is a deranged cult of personality...one with core values of authoritarianism, minority rule, and thought-control...

And one much more prone to use violence to achieve its ends...

Our democracy has never been more in danger than it is today...

As the House convened for a moment of silence, Cheney, who is leading the investigation into the insurrection as vice chair of the 1/6 committee, and her father, former Vice President Dick Cheney, stood almost alone on the Republican side of the House floor.

Just because Trump is flamboyantly attempting to subvert American democracy with a xenophobic rabble, don't forget what led to this.

Dick Cheney, "Darth Vader", fake WMD, Haliburton and war-profiteering in Iraq reconstruction, private military contractors and trillions funneled into Dubai and UAE.

The corruption of American democracy has consequences.
