They can have their freedom of navigation exercises and so can the US in the Taiwan strait.

In return, the British were “gifted” old warships that were barely functional.

Gifted in quotes I assume because the US was officially neutral at the time. Roosevelt transferred 10 coast guard cutters to try to improve the outcome of the deal for the Royal Navy.

But gaining sea dominance isn’t just about shipbuilding. The Chinese plan includes “island building” projects to establish a presence in the near waters of Asian countries, including the Philippines and Vietnam.

Yeah that illegal stuff needs to be rendered useless.

Those Chinese are not tested in battle. Until then, just paper “tigers”. Probably half of the guns are fake for example. Not bad a strategy but side effect is to trigger fear articles like this which just support the agenda of the West.

Chinese warships were recently spotted sailing close to the Aleutian Islands, just off the Alaskan coast.

Unacceptable! More on that below.

But gaining sea dominance isn’t just about shipbuilding. The Chinese plan includes “island building” projects to establish a presence in the near waters of Asian countries, including the Philippines and Vietnam. Elsewhere, it seeks to use its economic might to entice countries away from Washington’s naval assistance.

This is a major provocation and a massive Chinese threat to the entire world not just our region. Perhaps the greatest threat possibly on the table we face long term.

If China continues course on this plan. Its assets will have to be destroyed along with its ambitions.

Only one way to do that. When Japan had superior numbers and ships, soldiers, greater numbers on all things to make war with US on the ropes from war and Pearl. Well. China is like bathroom fungus. There is no killing it. Just beating it back.

The Dutch fought the British and French in the far waters off the Indian coast in the 17th and 18th centuries.

Irrelevant in todays times and I fail to see the connection Author. Unless China attacks on the open water. And starts sinking allied ships The war will be cyber at sea and economic war tactic's. Power grids, disrupting shipping lanes. Over fishing sovereign nations waters. Many other annoyances. All things we see China do on regular basis. These are war starters in the modern time we live in.

To be clear, China did not breach any international law by sailing close to the Aleutians. And U.S. officials seemingly played down the incident.

Under the weak frail Biden admin yes, you are right. But I can say this with certainty. This would have never happened under a Trump cabinet. I would bet my life on it. The weaknesses exposed right now on the US is always being challenged and taughtened. Not for much longer.

Still, it shows China has the ability and intent to take its naval rivalry with the U.S. into uncharted diplomatic waters, so to speak, and closer to the American coastline.

Every American should take this as a direct challenge that we need to make America Great Again. Or accept we are no longer (The U.S.) The worlds most powerful country. The worlds most just and fair country.

Have you fellow Americans had enough? Is it to be second best to China? Or will we stand in our shipyards, fire up the welders and design tables. Let us start to combat the Chinese threat?

Alternatively, all Americans should not be ignorant enough to see China's rise through the prism of historical Anglo-American aggression. China is fundamentally mercantilist, trading with all in order to bring wealth to the nation.

Foreign aggression is a waste of resources and lives.

No. False!

I can tell you. Chinese ships are lethal as any other war ship produced in the world and they have no fake weaponry what so ever. And their hulls are broad and strong. Never think anything less. No paper tigers.

Chinas rail gun is extremely deadly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHRhwhvuVO0

And is suspected on two ships already.

Foreign aggression is a waste of resources and lives.

Which makes Xi's policy of aggression toward virtually all China's neighbors all the more puzzling.

China is already a huge country with the world's 2nd largest GDP. Why does Xi constantly feel the need to steal even more?

Alternatively, all Americans should not be ignorant enough to see China's rise through the prism of historical Anglo-American aggression.

I don't think they do.

I think most people see China for what it is: a highly dangerous, totalitarian state that will attack and steal until it is stopped, like Nazi Germany, or collapses, like the Soviet Union (though Putin is trying his best to continue living in the past).

I wish it was true that everyone did see this.

Unfortunately, The world wants Chinese products. The world wants a piece of its Chinese economy.

Especially the majority of weak politicians in every country. Regardless of party or affiliation. Aid and money are much needed in this world we live in. And China is on track to surpass The United States. China wants the world.

It was Biden strength that released our detainees in Russia, not Trump's "Reek" behavior.

Why? Your side says out loud the goal is to take America down a peg. Nothing wrong with the US making sure all pegs are defended.

The readers of the WSJ and BBC headlines would be in total agreement.

And the readers of Xinhua and Xi Jinping Thought constantly bring in Israel and the US in a pathetic bid to deflect from their own aggression.

You people do love your tu quoque fallacies, don't you?

Please name the terrible aggressions, Isabella. Water cannons in the South China Sea. Coast Guard ships staring at one another around Senkaku/Diaoyu. Stick fights in the Himalayas that no third party ever witnessed.

Mountain meet ant hill.

The "you people" quote. See Ross Perot.

People die in the conflicts in the Himalayas and China will start a war with its belligerence in the SCS. Not a peaceful country, China.

And Biden pushed Russia into China's arms, let's not forget that as well. Trump will have his hands full dealing with these new alliances from next year.

Trump promised to end the Ukraine war with a single phone call. Putin wants Alaska back. Will Trump give it to him?

Trump promised to end the Ukraine war with a single phone call.

If people THINK he can really do that, then people need a reality check. Do I believe he will end it on day one, of course not and I don't know anyone who does, however, he will work hard on bringing this war to a hasty halt, of that I have no doubt.

Putin wants Alaska back. Will Trump give it to him?

Not sure where that came from, but uhhh, ok.....Lol

So, it's just another load of Trump hot air and lies. It's hard to know the difference between the truth and lies with Trump.

Please name the terrible aggressions, Isabella.

What would be the point in me typing them all out? You'd just dismiss them as "ant hills," as you've just done with border invasion, murder and maiming, and illegal occupation.

The "you people" quote. See Ross Perot.

I'm not referring to race. I'm referring to those who cheerlead for authoritarianism, of course.

But I realize that authoritarians like to play the victim card in an attempt to conceal their oppression of others, so I'm not surprised you tried that.

Trump did that when he was in office, so no surprise.

Trump also said he was the only one who could get the hostages released. Biden shut him up on that one.

Trump kicked the can down the road to Biden, and Biden used his competence to get the job done. If Trump was half as competent, he would have gotten the hostages out during his own term.

Trump talks a lot, but when it comes time to walk the walk, he does that weird YMCA dance of his. It's really weird.

You should be arguing about John Lee over Lai Tung-kwok

No, because, for one, he's not the President yet, and second, he would do it BECAUSE he wants to put more resources back into the US, calm down.

It's hard to know the difference between the truth and lies with Trump.

Then you must despise this admin then.

And you actually believed it? That's on you! ROFL!

And let's not forget Trump helped secure the release of at least 56 hostages from over 24 countries.

Actually, it's kinda cute.

You think Trump can strike a grand bargain with Russia,

A mutual understanding of respect, where rules are set and agreed upon by both sides, I do.

Then why does the loser say such things?

Loser? He didn't start any wars, period, so...

Through grabbing ankles or not at all.

You can say that all day, I am proud to have a President who puts the US first and foremost.

Yeah, so funny when you give cover to our enemies.

Ok

Why? Biden hasn't told 30k lies like the fraudster.

Worse, let me know when you want me to put up 50 years of quotes, you're going to lose on that one easily, better tap out on this one.

You just told us that was not possible. Really need to make up your mind.

I do and I did, relax.

None of which were from Russia, because that is where his orders come from.

Semantics, please stop listening to all the lib networks, not healthy, not healthy at all, keep up, that myth has been debunked for years, where have you been?

Yeah in a non-heterosexual sort of way.

And the left says conservatives are homophobic! ROFL!
