The right way to run Kavanaugh’s SCOTUS hearing

Trump put forward Kavanaugh expressly because Kavanaugh now claims presidents should be above the law. He's already been caught committing perjury in this confirmation hearing, he's likely to rule on the president who appointed him, and he has concealed his record from the normal public evaluation Supreme Court justices go through.

But this article would have you think "both sides" are in the wrong here.

Senator McConnell wrote to Trump that Kavanaugh's paper trail would be very embarrassing. So what did Republicans do? They tried to hide the Kavanaugh's record. Rather than promoted to the Supreme Court, he should obviously be impeached from his current federal bench seat, for having consistently and obviously lied to the Senate. Not surprising that Trump would nominate such a corrupt judge. Birds of a feather, sticking together.
