IMO, it is necessary to remind North Korea that the use of nuclear weapons, like the use of poison gas or germ warfare, will subject that country to massive, overwhelming retaliation. There is certainly nothing wrong with trying to get North Korea to de-nuclearize, but I do not have much hope that those efforts will succeed. Libyan dictator Gadaffi de-nuclearized, and it may have directly led to his death. The NK dictator may have decided that it would be illogical for him personally to get rid of his weapons of mass destruction.

"The NK dictator may have decided that it would be illogical for him personally to get rid of his weapons of mass destruction."

That was before Trump took him aside and showed him that it is in fact illogical for him personally to keep his nukes. So far so good on NK - Kim is playing his necessary role as "standing up" to the U.S. while he continues to prepare to denuke. Inter-Korean relations are continuing to improve as well.

Goodness. Stop. N. Korea has no intention of denuclearizing while the Donald is president. If nothing else, Kim is surely having too much fun playing him

Just explain it to them -- they'll understand. "You see, it is OK for our country to have nuclear weapons, but it is not OK for your country to have them." Simple.
