EEurope dodged a bullet? What a joke. Europe just stepped in front of that bullet and the EU is over. Each of those countries will collapse under thecweaight of debt, parasites from Brussels and invading fake refugees committing crimes. The UK will be fine because of brexit, the non euro countries will survive and Germany will make it out. France is going to be Greece on steroids.

Put simply, it’s hard to win an election with partially fascist rhetoric while there are still people alive who remember genuine Nazis on the streets.

Don't think that's the main reason she lost tbh. Going back to the French franc and leaving the EU despite not having a good, viable alternative/plan is/may be.

Also disagree with Peter Apps assessment about today's European far right/national socialism and ww2 Nazis. Again, his comment may have been valid 20 years ago when JM Le Pen was FN's leader, not so much with MLP.

More accurate would be: "The outpouring of relief from the international establishment over the French far right failing ..."
