The world needs to pressure the Palestinian Arab people to get the terrorist group Hamas out of leadership of the government there. Simple as that. Otherwise, face the destruction your government is bringing upon its people.

This time even the Arabs inside Israel protested

I really thought they have been broken into submission over the 70 odd years, but they couldn't keep silent anymore. Fear didn't stop them. retaliation by the Zionist Apartheid Regime is happening now as we speak. Thousands of Palestinians are being arrested in Israel for going against their masters.

Hamas fired 4000 missiles into Israel, what did you expect? Hamas is the reason for the poor condition of the West Bank.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Incredible precision by Israel, with so few casualties on the enemy side, given the amount of firepower deployed.

From Wikipedia:

Countries accusing Israel of State sponsored terrorism---Bolivia, Iran, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Turkey, and Yemen.

Countries designating Hamas as a terrorist organization: Canada, the European Union, Israel, Japan and the United States

Countries designating Hamas' military wing as a terrorist organization:  Australia, New Zealand, Paraguay and the United Kingdom.

Unless you are from one of the countries accusing Israel of state sponsored terrorism, then your home country does not, and instead lists Hamas or its military wing as a terrorist organization. I am guessing the majority of posters here are from a country basically pro-Israel, anti-Hamas.

So, instead of making arguments here that reek of anti-semitism, try and convince your own government otherwise, because they know a lot more about this issue than you (us).

Oh wow @zichi---I must turn on the news, because all there headlines I have seen these past few days have been proclaiming a ceasefire.

It started again?? I wonder who forced Israel to defend itself again. Shame on the terrorist organization Hamas for subjecting its people to these horrors you described.

There won't be peace in the middle East until Israel stops annexing land that doesn't belong to them.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

As predicted.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

That is terrible of course. And of course you are aware that Israeli citizens were killed by the thousands of missiles shot from Palestinian Arabs with the intent to kill as many Israelis as possible? While Israel was targeting strategic sites responsible for initiating the terrorist attacks on Israel.

Both Jews and Muslims who tried to work for peace were assassinated by their own people. The extremists on both sides are in control.

It's a war crime to select civilian targets.

War is never fair or beautiful or always just, it's sick, bloody, dirty, and violent, that is the cost of war.

In the past, they have been guilty of indiscriminate bombings and illegal bombs like white phosphorus. They too often don't get it right like hitting the AP media building.

To a point, but in the bigger picture of the situation, Isreal will always protect itself, bottom line and if the rest of the world doesn't like it, they just have to deal with it.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

zichi, Hamas is influencing the people of the West Bank to attack the Jewish people. Throwing large rocks and petrol bombs at praying Jewish people was the start of the conflict. Gaza is is worse condition as well from the firing of 4000 missiles and the Israel counterattack. Think what a better place Gaza would be if Hamas spent the money on the people vs weapons.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

A war by international laws remains a war crime like bombing civilians or illegal weapons like white phosphorus bombs which burn its victims.

And?

The current situation started from what was happening in East Jerusalem and the mosque.

There is always room for dialogue, firing rockets into the Jewish nation is just asking for a death wish.

Any country that commits war crimes against Americans is dealt with harshly. Just as Israel harshly deals with war crimes and terrorist acts committed against its citizens.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

Hamas is not a country. There is no country called Palestine. Hamas is designated as a terrorist group by your home country.

Defending a country is not a war crime. Once again, anti-semitism is used against Israel's right to defend itself from terrorist attacks.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

so if a country commits war crimes against Americans that would be acceptable to you.

No, but Isreal will do what it must to survive, bottom line. No one likes or wants a war, but sometimes it's necessary to keep the peace or at least pacify your enemy.

Committing a war crime against another war crime does not cancel them out. Two wrongs don't make a right.

I see it differently, you come after me and my family, all bets are off, no rules apply. I will do everything in my power to keep them safe. Again, war is bad, ugly, I get it, but you can't fight a war and win EVER if countries were to follow this insane dream of what hippie liberals want and think war should be fought and if Isreal went the road the exact way the left wants. Isreal would be burned to the ground. Imagine if people thought like this in the First and Second World Wars, we would never have won it.

Throwing large rocks and petrol bombs at praying Jewish people was the start of the conflict

I thought the start of the conflict (this time, as many times before) was Palestinian Israeli families being evicted and their homes given to Jewish Israelis?

you come after me and my family, all bets are off, no rules apply

Like Israel comes after the Palestinian families? Like Israel demolishes Palestinian homes and leaves families destitute?

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

The start of the conflict goes back to at least 1948 when Israeli agreed to a 2 state solution and the Palestinian Arabs refused it, and so they along with several Arab countries invaded the newly established state of Israel.

Fact.

And since then several Palestinian Arab factions (PLO, Hamas) that are recognized terrorist groups have been putting Palestinian Arab civilians lives at risk by committing terorist attacks upon the sovereign state of Israel.

Attempts to discredit solely Israel are just anti-semitism inflammatory discourses.

There is no country called Palestine. There is no Palestine language, whereas Israelis speak a language unique to them.

So, a sovereign, legally established country with a long history gets to defend itself against a group clinging onto to land that never belonged to them, because they were never a unified people with a unified established land or country.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

The difference is that Palestinian Arabs goal is the destruction of Israel--basically the elimination of all Jews. Palestinian Arabs are taught in their "schools" to hate the Jews. Israelis, including Arab citizens in Israel, are taught to respect all peoples.

Israel takes a humanistic approach and just wants peace. Anti-zionism is anti-racism.

@Commodore Perry

"Anti-zionism is anti-racism"[!!}

THANK YOU! Couldna said it better myself!

@Commodore Perry

Not to beat a dying horse, but try to remember from where ANYTHING you know about the "Palestinians" has come to you. It has come to you through 'Western media" and U.S. influenced (dominated) media. Have you EVER spoken with a Palestinian? Read news from a Palestinian viewpoint, even? I won't hold you to the fact that Palestinians are fellow Humans because most Humans do not see, cannot see, HUMANS, only their labels given to them most often by the perceiver's Authority so as to direct the perceiver's behavior. That is ALL our largely fictional news media is for, mind control, the manipulated 'vox populi' which Caesar and his ilk understood and used so well to drag the Republic into tyranny. And I would suggest to you that the first place you begin to decipher your news feed is with the adjectives...and learn the meaning of the term 'weasel word'. It will be an epiphany for you if you are lucky...

YOU'RE WELCOME! Oh no! I made a typo! What a discredit to my argument. But I am assuming you think typing in all capitals adds something of value to an argument, so I did the same to get you focused.

An anti-zionist anti-semite would cling to such typo as 'proof' just as Palestinian Arabs try to cling to 'proof' that they are victims when an errant Israel missile strikes a house which remarkably was not inhabited by a Hamas terrorist.

The educated understand better though.

"Oh no! I made a typo!"

Read Freud. He did get one or two things sort of right...

You need to pay some attention to the growing number of JEWISH People who are realizing the pathology of these monsters who claim to be them. BUT, if RACISM IS your goal, then continue to conflate the zionists and the Jewish People and add to the insane HATRED of Jews begun by the Christians and kept alive by psychopathy and the pathology so obviously aimed at the helpless Palestinians. The zionists are everything the haters claim the Jews to be. Do MY grandchildren NEED this added hostility among the profoundly ignorant to soil their lives? NO! They do not. The zionists are NOT THE JEWS!
