In 2016, Donald J. Trump started undermining NATO, most likely under Michael Flynn’s advice (Flynn was an unregistered lobbyists for Russia at the time). Joseph Stalin started undermining NATO from its inception and was followed by Nikita Krushev and the rest of the leaders of the Soviet Union. Vladimir Putin has been doing the same since he came to power in Russia.

The biggest threat to U.S. national security, as well as Europe’s security, is Donald J. Trump.

"In 2016, Donald J. Trump started undermining NATO."

It is my opinion that this is not a true statement, what Trump wants, is that the NATO members that are not paying their share to start doing so.
