""It needs global action and not simply national action. We've had too much of America first, India first, China first," he told the BBC last month. "We are finding that we are connected, whether you like it or not."

At least they are saying own nation first. But the most dangerous activity is religious supremacy claims..... See in the UN there are over 30 counties shouting own religion first. Because they want global dominance with their barbaric religion. The barbaric law of that religion is the constitution of those nations. They want to conquer the world and replace the constitution of each nation and the UN based on their religion. That is more dangerous than the " nation first" view... I am not allowed to spell the name of that religion. This much they control the world and the media. such a shame!!!

We've had too much of America first

No, we haven't. In fact, we've just got started on that.

What's good for America is good for the rest of the world, that I can tell you.

National policies are making a difference in this crisis, not multi-lateral ones. New Zealand, Taiwan doing well, Italy and Iran floundering. It's all up to the country and NOT international agreements. EU countries Spain and Italy have the worst death records.

In a crisis, borderless movement of people and trade, blocs, etc fall by the wayside because they are ineffectual. Maybe TPP will fizzle into oblivion. Japan, the TPP negotiation leader, is now planning repatriation of industrial operations. TPP wasn't such a good idea afterall, was it, Mr. Abe.

Former British prime minister Gordon Brown...has warned that more, not less, multilateralism was needed to fight the coronavirus pandemic.

Jeez. That man is dangerous. Someone tell him to be quiet.

That means Trump wants the entire world to inject Mr. Clean

My take on our current problems is as follows. If and when the world can deal with a sane and competent president, instead of the one we have now, things have a chance of getting better. Let us all pray.

The damage done by the current occupant of the White House in many areas, including multilateralism, will be felt for decades to come.

This retro administration, is all about the nonstop reelection rally that overshadows any- thing else.

Trump is wriggling like a snake trying to justify his disinfectant outrage remark

Yeah, I don't know why he said he was being sarcastic, he wasn't. The people mocking him for his remarks at that presser think bleach and Lysol are the only disinfectants and that Trump said people should drink /inject it themselves. Joe Biden even tweeted "I can't believe i have to say this, but don't drink bleach"

No sh+t Sherlock, thanks for the tip. Jeez...
