Did Trump break the law? FBI search raises fresh questions

They have been claiming that he has broken the law so many times since he became president. He’s not in jail-never been charged. Russiagate- 4 years of nonsense- pushed as fact. The dems need to understand that what they do to others when they have power, can be done to them in the next cycle. Not a good sign of the health of the institutions of the republic. I’m not a fan-don’t want to see trump president again-if he’s guilty, charge him. However, the institutions need to be clearly and reliably seen as non-partisan.

To obtain a search warrant, the Justice Department would have had to persuade a judge that probable cause existed that a crime was committed, though what statute officials think may have been violated is unclear.

In this case, the Justice Department had a magistrate judge sign off. Magistrates are hired by district judges to help them with routine matters. Telling.

And as you mention Petraeus--his mistress was found to have confidential information--which of course they denied came from Petraeus. In a speech she mentioned previously unreported information about a deadly attack on the US consulate in Benghazi. Hmmm--sounds like someone's home should have been raided.

Two groups of people know what was found and taken from Mar-A-Lago during the FBI search - the FBI agents who conducted it and Donald Trump (or his attorneys) who were left with a complete inventory of everything seized....

So with all the hue and cry from Trump and the Repubs ranting about "show us what was taken"....all Trump has to do is show the inventory....

Um, do you not understand how the law works? Innocence until proven guilty. Someone is proven guilty through an investigation. Investigations are started when there is evidence of a possible crime.

The search may have been in response to something in Alex Jones's records or to Trump's recent golfing buddies. And was apparently assisted by someone familiar with Mar-a-Lago.

So the very corrupt FBI, same group that had members texting each other about taking down President Trump, Spying on President Trump, had a corrupt judge who was a Obama supporter and helped Epstein, signed off of this completely unethical search warrant, the FBI didn’t even give a copy of the warrant to Trumps Lawyer, and they ask the people at Mar-largo to turn off all cameras.

I agree. Right now there’s a definite witch hunt, harassment and personal persecution going on. Does that means he’s perfect? It does not. I don’t think that there is anything that he has that can politically damage him as far as that’s concerned, businesswise, I would have no idea, but that doesn’t mean the left will not stop to find something, they will continue with this witch hunt up until November for sure. As you said, they have tried everything for the last six years, and they couldn’t get anything on this man, so now they read his home, they tell his lawyers they can’t be there, when they have every right to be there, they tell them, they have to turn the security cameras off, which they, thank God did not do! so the Democrats and the apartment justice have crossed a line of pretty much no return, and that’s going to cost them politically.
