Europe is starting to resist pressure from 5G technology. Why?

Demonstrated harmful human health + ecological effects

Clear and present risk to public safety and security

Orwellian mass surveillance / population control

10,000%+ higher energy consumption vs. wired

No-one will insure the "high risk" (Swiss Re)

No prospect of this toxic tech ever being ethical/sustainable.

Europe has a number of technology companies that can easily build the 5G network I don't understand why they don't use them.

No they don't. If they did, this would be a non-issue.

I am particularly worried about Huawei, but I definitely get what makes their product attractive. Their business (government) strategy is high-quality products at low prices, and they've invested in 5G development, putting themselves ahead of the game.
