Oh and weren’t we told that Russian deaths were 7 times those of Ukraine not long ago?

Dont forget that Japan still buys gas from Russia and many EU countries still buy gas and oil, how queer.

The truth is out there.

Maybe that's what you read somewhere at some time, maybe in the first week. Time flies. For sure that was before the offensive against dug-in positions, which is bound to see more lives lost. Still, no reason to miss a chance to claim it's all a lie "we were told" probably by the supine MSM and the truth can be found somewhere on the net. Where though? Must the oracles always be kept to oneself?

All to satisfy one bloodthirsty Tsar. If the Russians won't take out the trash then they need to be international pariahs in addition to losing the war.

Russia says the West's weapons supplies are escalating the war.

Of course they do. Without aid Ukraine would now be completely Russian ruled. Western weapons supplies allow Ukraine to remain Ukrainian, and cost Russia much more in lives lost, life time injuries to soldiers and the actual monetary cost to Russia is much much higher than it otherwise would have been.

The war is Russia's fault. That the war continues is also Russia's fault. They cant try to shift blame to others but it was Russia invading Ukraine for territorial gain that is the one and only cause of this conflict. Ukraine is not able to end this conflict by any other means than surrender. Surrender is not a reasonable or acceptable option for Ukraine. The people decide to defend their nation against Russian invaders. Only Russia can end this war, but Putin has no stomach for peace, only for conquest and victory at the expense of Ukraine and its people. No matter how much Russian blood is spilled for Putin to get his victory.

Anybody wishing for peace in Europe must be prepared to get a peace deal with Russia. So far I haven't seen a honest and fair peace offer from the G7 countries! Of course there will be no peace deal without considering the wishes of Russia! Why should Russia agree to a deal without getting a fair cut of the cake?

Ukraine is not a "cake" to be carved up. Russia wont get an offer of Ukraine territory.

Russia will get continued war, casualties and costs until it decides peace is the better option. The people of Ukraine will fight for what is theirs, freedom and sovereignty over their entire nation. The west will continue to provide material assistance for as long as Ukraine is battling for its future.

Perhaps there should be discussions on carving up Russia instead? I am sure the Chechen's would love their freedom from Moscow, and they wouldn't be alone.

The only realistic things Russia can expect are criminal charges against those responsible for war crimes, and a huge reconstruction and compensation bill to Ukraine and its people who are victims of Russian terrorism.

For a nuclear "superpower" is has shown it cannot defeat a smaller neighboring nation in conventional warfare. Hardly anything worth crowing about if your a Russia supporter.

About 6000 nuclear warheads delivered with hypersonic missiles is certainly enough to remove the entire US in about 20 minutes from the planet. But if you still think Russia is not capable to strike back, I suggest you make an appointment with your doctor!

Over half a million casualties. Putin has a lot of blood on his hands.

If there is a hell, Putin has a front row seat reserved with his name on it.

Peter that's not true

Russia wants certain territory or assurance Ukraine won't join NATO

Russia doesn't want the whole Ukraine

He went for the decapitation strike against Kyiv. He should have realized his forces were in no shape to achieve it. There certainly is a lot of talk among the apologists about how he is trying to cripple Ukraine economically by stealing its coastline now.

Ah, war, mans favourite pastime. Being young (23) and having studies P.Science and History at Uni, wars have dominated this planet since time began. Even the Greeks, in their so-called democracy, the first ever one, could not resist the temptation of killing one another, or the neighbours. And it has carried on relentlessly almost without stop. Hundreds of millions have probably died but to no end, because in the long run, people are just collateral and no one really cares about how many die........As for this war and how Putin is just pouring endless 'troops' into Ukraine, I read an article just yesterday saying that he did not care because most of those troops are drunks, alcoholics or criminals. We do not know how this war will end...if it ever does, but I suppose it boils down to resources
