Trump is racist, sexist and as crooked as a corkscrew. But it's obvious that to millions of US voters, these qualities don't matter. Driven by feral intelligence he crudely appeals to easily manipulated segments of the US public and doesn't even need to bother to campaign in the states of the former Confederacy, which since the end of the Civil War have, with few exceptions, voted as a solid bloc for the most reactionary candidate. To that mix add the big bucks made possible by Citizens United and the assurance of support from the Australian-owned Fox News, and he's almost got the 2020 election sewn up. Those who believe he'll be easy to defeat are engaging in wishful thinking.

True! Judging from most of the Dem candidates, aside from Tulsi Gabbard who probably won't get the nomination, the economy would have to collapse and Trump would literally have to take a dump on stage during a debate in order to lose.

Either way, Trump potentially could face charges once he is out of office.
