Yes, they do. They don't either because they're just too damn lazy, or because they really, really want to believe what they're reading and facts would just get in the way.

Generally, left wing media and tech companies control the flow of information and decide what 'truth' is and have the ability to restrict those they decide are 'fake news' or 'offensive, etc. Of course there will always be cases of conservative originating 'false claims' or 'fake news' such as this article points out, but they are a minor danger compared to the dominance of the liberal controlled media and tech companies which are the real danger to truth and a free thinking society.
