5 years on, climate summit aims to breathe life into Paris deal

About time. With that ill mannered sociopathic denier on the way out, the US can now make a difference in solving this crisis once again.

Even the countries without "ill mannered sociopathic denier(s)" in office have not succeeded with the less ambitious plans. The UN is looking for more ambitious plans and countries are saying they will be carbon free in 10, 20 or even 30 years while not meeting the wildly less ambitious goals of Paris Accord. Call me a skeptic, but I have very little faith that the world will meet the 7.6% annual reduction to avoid the predicted catastrophe.
