I think that picture says it all: at least Dump knows how to work a crowd.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk jumps on stage as he joins former US president and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump during a campaign rally

Musk can launch memes.

In 2022, his daughter Vivian, then aged 18, legally changed her name and gender.

Musk later claimed his child was "killed" by the "woke mind virus" instilled at an elite California school, marking a significant hardening of his political stance.

Which is weird because in the works of his professed inspiration Scottish Socialist author Iain Banks in a post- Singularity AI-run society citizens change gender on a whim.

"Musk is helping to mainstream these racist conspiracy theories and bring in mainly white men who may either be disengaged or former political liberals."

Musk is basically an apartheid era white South African immigrant with a family legacy of blood gems who bought up and coming tech companies and never invented anything.

From Tesla to Trump: Behind Musk's giant leap into politics

What's behind his sudden entrance into politics?

The usual - narcissism, money and power...

The same as for Trump with the addition that it keeps him out of jail...

Musk is a nerd's attempt to be cool.

The funny thing is he is too dumb to see that Trump is using him too, while he badmouths about electric cars behind Musk's back.

With Musk turning Twitter into a free speech platform and now joining the Trump team, the great media smear campaign against him is on. (Same as with RFK and Gabbard). Diversity of opinion in the Western mainstream media? Nowhere to be seen.

In my opinion, Mr. Musk is an engineering genius. His politics, and personal life, on the other hand, are not so great.

Incidentally, and maybe intentionally, Mr. Musk's endorsing Trump will take the wind out of the sails of the MAGA people who have been so critical of EVs and the idea of global warming. People on the Left of politics have long been a fan of EVs. Maybe now the fruit loop MAGA people will start buying EVs......if Trump tells them to. Still waiting for that to happen. So far the give and take between Musk and Trump has been in Trump's favor.

The great thing about Musk is, the guy has definitely helped to bring in more people, skeptical people, undecided and now probably will be given a cabinet position, so this is great news and his clout and presence shows the growing results. The richest man on the planet backing MAGA has changed the definition of fighter for Free Speech.

You will be buying one of his EVs.

You will be buying one of his EVs.
