“It will be a big issue in the elections, I can tell you that,” DeSantis said. “It’s already made more of an impact than anyone thought it could possibly make. But we’re going to continue to make more of an impact.”

Pure political theater like "the Wall" and it will be equally effective.

Treat the employers and businesses of illegal immigrants like drug traffickers: Asset forfeiture seizure, confiscations and imprisonment.

The incentives, the source are the problem. I thought the Republican business leaders were all about the power of "incentivization".

Absolutely correct. MAGA-theater to entertain, fool, and manipulate the far-right....

They’ve delivered migrants on planes and buses to Washington, D.C., New York City — even Martha’s Vineyard. And the Republican governors of Florida and Texas may be just getting started.

US Governors engaging in human trafficking - lying to the migrants to get them on the buses and planes - no different from the cartels and coyotes in Mexico...

“I personally thought it was a good idea," Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell said Tuesday.

Say that after you fail to gain the majority Mitch - and you're relegated to Minority Leader again for your last term...LOL..

I'd rather have a poor immigrant for a neighbor than some white bigot like Ron Desantis.

The next war won't be in Taiwan. It'll be right in the middle of USA. Do I care?

DeSantis is a bigot because he respects the sovereignty of the US? Because he, like most Americans don’t want millions of illegals to pour in the US? I disagree. I think he should send all of them to sanctuary states, these states campaigned, supported and with pride protected the policy, then they are the ones that should take care of them, they should find them employment and or subsidize them in every possible way, anything else would be a lie or bigoted.

Wrong. They weren't illegal. These were all Venezuelan asylum seekers fleeing the Marxist Government, who had already been processed by the Immigration Service... Huge difference...

They were in Texas, not Florida...waiting for their asylum requests to be finalized...

DeSantis used Florida tax payer money to fly these migrant families, and lied to them saying they would be provided jobs and support....

That is textbook human trafficking....for which he is now under criminal investigation...

He's done, toast, finito...

*Wrong.  They weren't illegal. These were all Venezuelan asylum seekers fleeing the Marxist Government, who had already been processed by the Immigration Service... Huge difference...*

Then send them to sanctuary states. They are the ones that championed and created these safe spaces for illegals.

*They were in Texas, not Florida...waiting for their asylum requests to be finalized...*

But we don’t want them, we don’t need more illegals, we already can’t control the border as is, the border patrol and CBP are not even allowed to capture, send them back or cite them. I agree with Abbott on this one, LA should be able to accommodate them, they have money, even though their tax base is dwindling, but still.

*DeSantis used Florida tax payer money to fly these migrant families, and lied to them saying they would be provided jobs and support....*

Seems like the majority of people support it, for that, you can use as much of my money as you need.

*That is textbook human trafficking....for which he is now under criminal investigation...*

If that’s the weak case they’re presenting for him sending 50 illegals, he should double down and send as many as possible, maybe then these libs will get a inkling of what we have to deal with.

He's done, toast, finito...

Liberals keep saying that, just not going to happen, but we get it. The left need another scapegoat.

Wrong.  **They weren't illegal**. These were all Venezuelan asylum seekers fleeing the Marxist Government, who had already been processed by the Immigration Service... Huge difference...

Then send them to sanctuary states. They are the ones that championed and created these safe spaces for illegals.

Just can't get it thru your head these folks were LEGAL migrant asylum seekers already processed by Immigrations....just waiting for their finalization. Even Jared knows that and thinks it's wrong...

Seems like the majority of people support it, for that, you can use as much of my money as you need.

No matter how much you want to believe it, these folks weren't illegal - they presented themselves to US Immigrations as the border requesting asylum from Marxist Venezuela...

Your argument is worthless since it's based on this proven falsehood....

>

2 ( +6 / -4 )

Just can't get it thru your head these folks were LEGAL migrant asylum seekers

I think it’s the other way around. We are on the verge of having over 2 million illegals waltz through our border over half (and growing) of the border states don’t want them.

Ditto - once again, you're wrong, they weren't illegal...

I’m not wrong that’s why we have sanctuary states. They pride themselves on

> Hannity? Thanks for the laugh...

Reposting a Rasmussen report, but yeah, liberals think everything is funny until the jokes on them, then they scream, that’s not fair! Now that’s funny.

No matter how much you want to believe it, these folks weren't illegal -

You can believe that if you wish, I don’t and definitely believe that Martha’s Vineyard is a clean and solid place where any illegal can rest assured knowing that liberals have the necessary financial assets to care for these people.

Your argument is worthless

That goes both ways, but I could care less where they come from. The left campaigned and created sanctuary states, now they can do what they set out to create, a safe haven for illegals. Good luck to them, and I hope and pray Abbott and RDS don’t stop until this administration addresses the border issue.

*—once again, you're wrong, they weren't illegal...*

You need to learn even a little bit about immigration laws and asylum laws. And basic reasoning skills. Or are you just trying to wind up “libs” by pretending not to make sense?

1 ( +4 / -3 )

You need to learn even a little bit about immigration laws and asylum laws.

I do, my mother’s side were immigrants and they came to America the right and legal way. So I do know, and I am saying this as reasonably as i can, but thanks for your concern.

-3 ( +3 / -6 )

There is a legal difference between those who are immigrants and those who are asylum seekers.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

Previously found working there.

Trump can't find any Americans to work there.

You would have no idea what he can or cannot find. You don’t work with the man or know his living circumstances.

There is a legal difference between those who are immigrants and those who are asylum seekers.

Yes, so sanctuary states and places like Martha’s Vineyard has the money and resources and they’re more kind-hearted people.

Asylum applies at the point of entry, not some state transported to which is illegal.

Well, there’s no way to prove or disprove that comment.

Asylum applies at the point of entry, not some state transported to which is illegal.

There is no way to even believe for one second that any of these illegals and certainly the vast majority of them applied for asylum, none. As I have told you for years, I will always believe the word of a border patrol agent over any white-tie shirt Washington pencil establishment bureaucrat.

Him, I definitely believe without question.

The point of asylum, which is covered by international laws, and which the US is a signature, they don't have to prove it on arrival. They just request it. They are then detained while the country investigates their reasons for asylum and then a decision is made whether to grant them asylum.

Border patrols and agents have no said if any person is an asylum seeker or not. They are required to follow the law.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

This is hilarious. Leftists go apoplectic when their NIMBYist policies backfire on them and decent people like DeSantis show them up as the elitist hypocrites they are.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

There is if you bother to read them. Here is one to get you started

I did and the article was from a reporter that was surmising the situation, and not based on actual observation or even knowing the records. So again, we can surmise all we want, but we don’t know.

The point of asylum, which is covered by international laws,

I know, but if there are people that applied and are in waiting, fine, but that’s not even close to the majority of illegals that are coming into the nation.

Border patrols and agents have no said if any person is an asylum seeker or not.

Again, I believe their numbers and could care less what Washington or the DOJ say.

They are required to follow the law.

Now that’s a real funny one.

Despite the opinion’s ubiquitous use of the word migrants, the fact remains these people crossed the border illegally; and therefore, the are illegal aliens. That’s important, I think. I believe that’s part of the democrats’ propaganda.

BS. They presented themselves to Immigrations and requested asylum - they were processed by Immigrations and were awaiting their final hearing. Just more anti-immigrant hate....

But I am still convinced the republicans are the better party.

Agree - better at lying, manipulating their low-intellect voters, and much better at fascism...

*Just can't get it thru your head these folks were LEGAL migrant asylum seekers *

I think it’s the other way around.

So? Doesn't change the fact that under US law, asylum seekers are not illegal. Your opinion (incorrect) just just verifies your anti-immigrant, racist bias...

*Ditto - once again, you're wrong, they weren't illegal...*

I’m not wrong

You're 100% wrong....

No matter how much you want to believe it, these folks weren't illegal -

You can believe that if you wish, I don’t

Don't believe a fact, huh? OK, argue the earth is flat all you want....ROFL...

Your argument is worthless

That goes both ways, but I could care less where they come from.

Utterly worthless - for all to see...

BS. They presented themselves to Immigrations and requested asylum - they were processed by Immigrations and were awaiting their final hearing. Just more anti-immigrant hate....

Then they go to any sanctuary state that wants them.

You're 100% wrong....

No, because DeSantis and Abbott are doing the right thing to help them. I believe they should be happy and welcomed with open arms to progressives that want them.

Don't believe a fact, huh?

I believe sanctuary states are where they should reside, maybe now Biden will try and seal the wall. Until then, keep sending them, illegals and asylum seekers.

Utterly worthless - for all to see...

This administration policies are.

Thank you for admitting they were legal asylum seekers....there wasn't that hard, was it....

You're 100% wrong....

No, because DeSantis and Abbott are doing the right thing to help them. I believe they should be happy and welcomed with open arms to progressives that want them.

See above - you just contradicted yourself...an almost daily occurrence

Don't believe a fact, huh?

I believe sanctuary states are where they should reside,

Believe all you want - if you think real hard, it may come true - just like declassifying...ROFL...

Utterly worthless - for all to see...

This administration policies are.

Yoda-speak? Again thanks for admitting you were wrong...

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Thank you for admitting they were legal asylum seekers

And thank you for agreeing with me that they should go to sanctuary states

See above - you just contradicted yourself...an almost daily occurrence

As you do, as well.

Believe all you want -

Nothing to do with believe, I see that DeSantis and Abbott are right in their new policy

Yoda-speak?

Then you should try harder

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

But I am still convinced the republicans are the better party. I’m more concerned about crime and general disunity amongst Americans than the progressive issues consuming the Democratic Party. Besides, reading this just gives me more personal vindication for leaving the Democratic Party in 2016.

I completely agree.

The republican museum emboldened by the neo-fascism of the little Duce of Mar-a-Lago, are showing the true kind of petty human beings they really are, they can't stand their fantasies of the US becoming their dreamed white christian nationalist utopia..

Little pathetic wannabe "banana-republic" clown-dictators like Trump, DeSantis or Abott and the all entourage of GOP neo-fascist politicians are a social danger, they are taking away women's rights, now they are going after the rights of immigrants, Latinos, blacks and the LGBT community..

All these violations of human rights are going to pay dearly this November..

They must be stopped..

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

Yes, once McCarthy retakes the gavel, a lot of people are going to pay dearly.

They should be detained in the state they arrived in.

That won’t get Biden’s or the Democrats attention, transporting them to blue sanctuary states will though and have been.

Sure, legal immigrants should be able to go anywhere....that's America... Glad you finally admitted your claim that they were illegal was BS,,,

See above - you just contradicted yourself...an almost daily occurrence

As you do, as well.

Prove it...

Believe all you want -

Nothing to do with believe,

Another contradiction - your words; "*I believe **sanctuary states are where they should reside,"*

That's two self-owns just on this thread...

Yoda-speak?

Then you should try harder

Try harder, I will - for those who don't understand English...ROFL...
