"Truly draining the swamp, chasing them out of the Capitol like rats."

@burningbush,
GOP rep Marjorie Taylor Greene has supported calls for the murder of political opponents, trump supporters carried bombs and were attempting to kill democratically elected leaders. Do you support these people and their actions? Is this what you call ‘draining the swamp’?

Trump attempted an armed insurrection, and failed.

2021 is not 1776.

Could you explain why you think forcing duly elected representatives of the people from their offices in fear of their life because you don't like that you lost an election is a good thing?

Pages usually have numbers, not titles. Perhaps this is why you are having difficulty with books, and therefore historical analysis.

You have it upside down. 1776 was about throwing off an absolute monarch and his army so the colonies could rule themselves. What happened on January 6th was about overthrowing a duly elected government and murder of legislators by disgruntled supporters of the person who lost the election. Overthrowing a popularly elected government is very different from overthrowing a hereditary despot.
