I agree with Norman.

This certainly isn't limited to Toyota. Many Japanese "global" manufacturers unilaterally make decisions that affect worldwide markets here in Japan, usually by monolingual people who have no overseas experience.

I've had Toyota, Honda and now Nissan. Toyota staff were just plain rude, ignorant and treated me like I was stupid. Which is why I'll never own another Toyota car ever again!

Honda was great customer interaction, but just one time, had me pay for a job that wasn't done properly.

Nissan have gone above and beyond service and so far, have taken great care of me and my Z.

Toyota would do well to get back to ground roots with its customers, worldwide!

Looks like they are planning to listen to their cars, according to the article below on salesforce.

the-sheriff -- truer words were never spoken. Amazing how many Japanese "multi-national" companies have almost no foreigners in significant positions here at HQ. Toyota being just one example, as you say.

Yay Nissan!

Although Sony sure takes a lot of heat even with Stringer around.

Brakes or no brakes, I'll take the Toyota hands down every time!

Do you think GM or Ford do anything differently? They are all the same. You should not have unrealistic expection from any auto manufacturers because you will be disappointed. I would buy Toyota product without worring about how you were treated.
