Did Trump have his passport with him? Did he get it stamped? I think this was all for show. Trump is still jealous that Obama received the Nobel Peace Prize, and he is doing everything he can to make sure he gets one too.
But I fear the North Koreans see this and are playing him. Time will tell.

MarkX Common Obama's Nobel Peace Prize was a joke and everybody know it. (he achieved nothing ).

I'll go with "B" as my final answer.

I'll go with A on my final answer. Heck, even a lot of people on CNN's video of this historic event were praising Trump. CNN!

Photo Op? Maybe. But as long as they keep talking no one is firing missiles. So just keep talking and hopefully work it out.

Did he meet Kim Jong Un or one of his doubles ?
After all, would trump even notice the difference ?

But still poor and No sanction relief, that’s bad and one of the main reason he wants to resume talks, the pressure is increasing that he get that relief.
He got Kim to talk, didn’t get him to escalate his rhetoric and as a result, No war. That’s a lot.

Exactly and he wants them removed and Trump hasn’t done it yet and Kim desperately needs them removed.
Not as long as the sanctions are in place, it will take a lot longer while they are being more and more isolated. I’m sure his new envoy are extremely nervous by any upcoming summit. Kim needs this and if they can’t get that relief.....
And still got no sanction relief.
The sanctions will remain and then more might get added, his loss.

No one ever said that it did or would, the point of the sanctions were to make it as financially painful for Kim and his regime which it has devastatingly been.

Photo op or not, he is still the first sitting US president to step foot in North Korea. Will it lead anywhere? Maybe, maybe not. It is still impressive.
As someone who was stationed in Korea for multiple years, I am happy to see even an attempt to normalize relations with NK.

Remember when Trumpophiles were complaining that Obama only sanctioned the DPRK? Well, at least Obama wasn't coughing up war games and photo ops.
Short of sanctions relief, Donny couldn't give more to Kim. Appeasement and capitulation by Donny.

Another ego trip for the farcical occupant of the White House for the consumption of his political base in the USA .... nothing more, nothing less.

The joint exercises have been cancelled in the past and can be put back on at a moments notice. A few photos? Just like every other world leader.
But... what if this works? Should it matter what Obama did or didn't do? Obama did it his way, Trump is doing it his. It might actually lead somewhere. If it doesn't, all Kim has a couple nice photos to put above the fireplace, nothing more.

I do and very well and that’s it, he never tired to meet with Kim or tried something different out of the traditional establishment.
Why would he? He didn’t even lift a finger on Crimea, so....
And that’s the main thing Kim wants and needs, so this is why Kim wants to restart the talks, sanctions are No joke.
