Emily Seidel, who leads the Koch-backed grassroots organization Americans for Prosperity, said her network is seeing first-hand that suburban voters are distancing themselves from Democrats who represent "extreme policy positions.”

Whether you support a Koch-backed political machine or a Soros/Bezos backed political machine; you are voting against your own interests and for those of the corporatocracy.

Pintless divisions over hot button issues while their corporate welfare and tax havens are always well defended as more of the burden is shifted onto the middle class even as their wealth stagnates and falls.

American democracy is a sham.

American democracy is a sham.

As the American writer Gore Vidal famously said some 60 years ago, "The United States is a one party state with two right wings." Their democracy is a fake, a corrupt and poisoned system that allows a cheesy third rate fraudster like Trump to become leader while denying anyone with serious ambitions to improve the country.

@Alfie-

“The party itself in no longer Democrat, it's progressive socialism,” she said, specifically condemning Biden's plan to eliminate billions of dollars in student debt.

Like this poor deluded woman, she has been propagandized by the vast Citizen United decision liberated corporate wealth in politics to support the interests of banks and billionaires.

Holy Moly! An opinion piece in the Japan Today that isn't 100% Democrat Propaganda Fluff!?

Say it ain't so!

Like Alfie says “The left wing and the right wing belongs to the same bird”.

in Bill Still’s documentary “The Money Masters”, this point is basically emphasized, with the Wall Street Bankers as the owners of the government. The administraitors report to the them as “selected officials”.

If only.

Ron DeSantis is licking his lips.

Raw numbers don't win elections, just ask Al Gore and Hillary Clinton. A couple thousand more votes for the Republican party here and there across the total number of states just means you win them by a smaller margin.

This is why the Dems continue to lose. November will be a bloodbath for sure.

Any democrat that switch to Republican are probably crazy, knowing it the party of Trump, the whole slate of crazy Republicans will help the GOP chances, especially in Texas

So, as far as voters switching parties, it seems to give Republicans an edge of approx. 300,000 votes across 42 states. However, it doesn't include 8 states. Nor, the numbers of voters who remain or have switched to "unaffiliated". And, even more importantly, the number of new registrations by party.

How many new voters have registered as Democrat or Republican in the last 12 months? With these recent dreadful rulings from the Supreme Court, I imagine lots of young people will be, or have recently, registered to vote. And, I'd bet a dollar it isn't at a 3:2 ratio Rep over Dem.

A political shift is beginning to take hold across the U.S. as tens of thousands of suburban swing voters who helped fuel the Democratic Party's gains in recent years are becoming Republicans.

Plain and simple.

This current administration has not accomplished anything that benefits significantly the American people.

Republicans, Democrats---at heart, they are firstly Americans.

Welcome to the right side!

HAPPY Fourth of July.
