What a waste of an article.

You do not judge cities by tweets.

Not entirely. But in America, you can get an idea of where a city lies in the balance between right-wing extremists and left-wing extremists.

The commen5 above highlights a problem with the study, by analysing tweets they are using a self selected group not a true cross representation of the population and thereby introducing uncontrolled variables in to the dataset.

You do not judge cities by tweets.

You have to live there to know the places and attitudes.

A lot of people do not use tweet or some other social media as we have a life in California.
