imagine if Will smith were a white, yellow or blue male???????? if so then the earth would have to rotate to the opposite side to contain the protest.. millions would have rallied on the street.. Most of the statues would have pulled down... shops would have been looted and burned down and the list goes on.......... Finally name of the former president have appeared and he long hours of cable TVs discussion ....... OH GOD ... what else would have happened?????
Next If that comedian was white? then imagine the opinions and the rest is assumable for an elementary school kid ...
This is America now.........

I tend to think that what happens between a husband and wife is their business and not for anyone else to comment on or draw conclusions from about the parameters of their relationship or the state of their marriage. I really just don't get why people outside of a marriage think they have standing not only to have an opinion, but to make assertions as if their opinion actually means something.
Skeptical
I see a trend setting in here, that steers the conversation away from acknowledging the heavy load-bearing narscassic-entitled behavioral disorders that are being seen way too often from those in the entertainment industry. If the industry made clear a concise code of conduct, and obtained a reputation of enforcing it fairly and consistently, this Rage On The Stage would never have happened. And women wouldn't have to be thrust in an unfortunate spotlight beside a maniac.

Regardless of skin color or gender, using violence as a response to being offended is wrong. End of story.

Rather sad that Will Smith played up to the stereotypical image of a black man resorting to violence at the first provocation.

He humiliated a man in public because he’s emotionally unstable and his marriage is unhealthy. These are extremely famous people and the victim ( the one assaulted and humiliated in front of millions ) didn’t deserve that. Of course people will talk about Will Smith and his marriage.
Raw Beer
This thing had nothing to do with race... and it was likely staged.

I can say quite honestly that I just don't care what celebrities do. If other want to talk about them, they are welcome to.
The point I was making with my post is related to the subject of this article, which is whether is is appropriate for a husband to step into a conflict on behalf of his partner. My stance is that it is up to the individual and what works for them, and that a couples' dynamic is personal and not something that should be up for debate by anyone outside their relationship.
If you are not one of the two people involved, you can't possibly know what is going on between them, so it's pointless to gossip about it.
But if idle gossip is your thing...well, have at it, I guess.

Bingo
and apparently Rock joked about her in the 2016, I think, oscars.
I still say the minute you walk in to that circus you should be prepared to get roasted. Smith is loser here.

Sorry, that's Smith's fault, he and Jada often in the past talked about their open relationship, once you do that and remember, they are public celebrities, people will comment, you don't want that then keep your business to yourself, if you brag about sleeping with others outside of your marriage that is total fail play, now is it moral or decent to talk about someone's spouse in public, it's not, but when you are in the public eye, people will ride you (no pun intended) at your own expense. That is on them.
True, but that's not going to get people to stop talking about you or your wife.

Yes to everything you just said – if we’re talking about John and Jane Doe or if it had happened behind closed doors. There’s a reason why we’re reading this article today.
Me too. Couldn’t care less. Except in this case millions of people, including children, saw what happened, because ( in case you didn’t know ) it was on live tv...
No, it’s not.
