Perhaps he intends to live on forever. Jumping out from one body into another :)

Let's hope so. Will be a tiny slice of what this tiny man has dished out onto others.

Russian President Vladimir Putin is just face to present an ideology, Putin has never been Mr lonesome,

He is just one of many of the same political political beliefs, the same political allegiances.

If Putin was to past away tomorrow, the likelihood of ideological change is zero.

There is zero evidence of Russian liberals or conservatives singing from the same hymn sheet.

The orthodoxy doctrine within the US fails to fully comprehend European historic struggles, leading to war.

The animals will eat each other, though. Happens every time.

Putin has plenty of succession plans but intends to stick around for at least six more years.

Putin makes it clear to voters daily that Russia's at war with US. Ukraine not the enemy. US seeks to retain its global dominance, 'why' for US NATO Ukraine proxy war.

Collapsing US empire with its growing debt, desperate as most of world busy de-dollarizing and going multi polar, US worried its dollar reserve status ending soon, Putin naturally one of chief de-dollarization architects!

-4 ( +5 / -9 )

His control over Russia’s security services has allowed him to crush rivals and control the media, judiciary, regional leaders, parliament and community groups.

It's hard to believe a lowly KGB lieutenant colonel (bumped up from major on retirement), of very little talent or intellect, nor given much responsibility, is anything himself but a tool of the security services, as has been suggested elsewhere. It's a shame that fearless warrior for truth and justice, Tucker Carlson, didn't make any impression on this mystery. Perhaps the kompromat extends to Carlson too, as well as his hero/passionate hate figure.

No dictatorship has ever been beholden to absolute rule.

There is a always structure.

A total agreement on political ideology.

It is foolhardy, dangerous, to believe that through appeasement that a global peace will prevail, it won't and never will.

The die has been cast, it is time to face the fact, that past policy inertia in Ukraine, the crazy belief that Minsk 2 agreement was a means to and end, has in fact fashioned the future.

A possibility of a Europe at War again, with the threat of Armageddon.

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

So wake up to the fact

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

What a terrible article! Talk about bias.

Putin will never allow Ukraine to be a platform for NATO to destabilize and destroy Russia. No matter who succeeds him, he/she will ensure Russia remains a sovereign state free of foreign disruption and control.

Putin makes it clear every day to voters that Ukraine is not the enemy of Russia. Rather, US Globalists, the enemy of Russia and seek its demise, using Ukraine as their proxy force to do so.

Putin's successors will continue with BRICS and the de-dollarization multi-polar world. The true reason the US and its globalists are so intent on destroying Russia, even at the risk of WW III.

-6 ( +2 / -8 )

Let's hope so. Will be a tiny slice of what this tiny man has dished out onto others.

Tiny, but oh, so powerful.

-9 ( +0 / -9 )

NATO has no intention or ability to destroy Russia. No country or group can destroy a nuclear power.

Putin rules his country as a dictator removing all the real oppression to his throne.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

I thought the right hated rigged elections- must depend on who’s doing it, I guess. They love dictators so much! Mr "the constitution lets me do whatever I want" and "I'll be a dictator for one day" wants to be Putin- so they’re stuck applauding an avowed anti-western, anti democratic murderer whose stated purpose is the resurrection of the USSR- democracy be damned.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Putin's proud of modernizing Russia, wants it to continue no matter succeeds him eventually. His view is US global destabilization and domestic interference in Russia, remains the Russian Federation's greatest threat.

Therefore, Russia and Putin busy building a robust and growing their BRICS partnership non-domestic interference framework, so popular with Global South. All are eager to de-$dollarize and avoid US $ based domestic inflation that BRICS members seek to mitigate.

Putin and his successors know multi-polar world they're building, makes US and its globalists a risky dangerous enemy not anxious to lose their reserve currency status.

You aspire to make America a client of China like Russia is?

When dictators fall and leave a power vacuum, societies fall and take years to recover.

It took Russia 30 years this past time.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Putin's proud of modernizing Russia

Putin got Russia quarantined from the world that matters. He dragged them back 30 years.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

Putin needs to modernize Russia with fair and free elections instead of trying to take it back to the days of the USSR and dictators.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

Putin needs to modernize Russia with fair and free elections instead of trying to take it back to the days of the USSR and dictators.

The leader of the EU congratulated Putin on a decisive and strong victory, at the start of the three days of elections in Russia.

It was spot on.

Putin's been hugely influential in getting China and the Muslim world especially to dump their US Treasuries. His potential successors understand minimizing any direct economic exposure to the US an absolute imperative.

BRICS agenda's really global multi-polar de-dollarization agenda. Putin a chief architect, how to manage and mitigate US financial sanctions. Putin explains to voters and domestic politicians who may succeed him, BRICS agenda he's leading = the WHY US so hostile to Russia.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

Gallup polling of Russians shows higher confidence in their elections than Gallup polling in US of their elections. Votes worldwide losing confidence in Democracy, Russia an outlier, confidence is increasing.

Putin wants his successors to continue above trend, the redline being Navalny rule, no parasite globalist influence upon Russian Federation elected officials with betrayal and treason being consequence for doing so.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Gallup polling of Russians shows higher confidence in their elections than Gallup polling in US of their elections.

Utterly meaningless when opposing voices are routinely silenced and opposition leaders are murdered or imprisoned under Putin.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Polling stations are set alight. Dyes poured into the ballot boxes. People in hospitals and care homes were forced to vote. Many from their beds.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Any western media in Russia reporting's strictly for their domestic audience. Putin's busy as I've written above, cutting all economic cords with West, especially globalist special interests, who naturally weaponize media.

Putin's successors will aggressively continue to build upon BRICS and multi-polar world and $de-dollarization. US will have far fewer Treasury buyers, higher interest rates as they drown in debt and their unfunded Govt. pension and healthcare liabilities, now nearly $100 Trillion.

Putin makes it clear every day to voters that Ukraine is not the enemy of Russia. Rather, US Globalists, the enemy of Russia and seek its demise, using Ukraine as their proxy force to do so.

Well there is another Putin "sucker" falling for Kremlin propaganda that has no basis of truth or honesty.

Russia invades Ukraine and murders Ukraine nationalists, trying to expand Russian borders and wipe out the sovereignty of Ukraine, remove the freedom and rights of Ukrainians to force compliance and servitude to Russia.

US globalists were happy to support Russia after the collapse of the USSR. Calling them enemies of Russia, saying they want to destroy Russia is a complete lie. There is nothing to support that lie, as the evidence shows the reverse with funds provided to Russia to stabilize. Putin was not happy to become part of mainstream Europe where Russia was just another country. Putin covets power pure and simple.

Russia's invasion of Ukraine has zero to do with the US. There is no "proxy war" against anyone. There are the invaders, and those being invaded who ask and beg for the weapons and armament they need to defend their freedom from Russia. The 40+ nations who have donated arms to help Ukraine survive as a sovereign nation is due solely to Russian aggression. NATO expansion to 32 nations is due solely to Russian aggression.

The Russian habit of blaming others, and attempting to claim innocence and righteousness for themselves is a standard move that nobody but the gullible fall for. Dont be one of the gullible people falling for Russia's narrative.

Yes influencing the most anti-American region in the world to be anti-American. Truly stunning. Treasuries are at the overnight lending rate set by the fed and no more, btw.

BRICS agenda's really global multi-polar de-dollarization agenda. Putin a chief architect, how to manage and mitigate US financial sanctions. Putin explains to voters and domestic politicians who may succeed him, BRICS agenda he's leading = the WHY US so hostile to Russia.

Here's a hint, the guy holding the leash is the guy in charge and that man is Xi.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Never, ever fooled by a banner of "patriotism" behind which politicians' ego is hidden.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Putin's correct to continue to cement his legacy with his eventual successors. Russia will continue to build the multi polar world and de-dollarization, that's the bright future and naturally BRICS and Global South agree!

Turns out most of the world agrees with Putin, that US lead destabilization in its many forms, core problem the World faces, and why talk of WW III so common place.

No matter how many times you repeat it: chaos will follow Putin and dollar is still strong.

Turns out most of the world agrees with Putin, that US lead destabilization in its many forms, core problem the World faces, and why talk of WW III so common place.

Turns out that gaslighting is a popular tactic, including about opinions in the Global South.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Putin and his successors know deep desire of world to join BRICS. Turns out they're tired of US$ based inflation sweeping thru their countries. Dozens of countries now in process of applying for BRICS Membership.

China, India, Middle East, etc., everyone dumping Treasuries, multi-polar world is here, US Govt. balance sheet true disaster, $1Trillion in new debt every 100 days (CNBC) and this ignores their massive unfunded pension and healthcare liability growth, soon to top $100 trillion!

World not interested in continued US $ terrorism, historical decoupling, Putin's successors will continue.

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

The election is a real nail-biter. Will his three opponents be liquidated or not?

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Sure Join the B team and be ruled by Xi and deal with China taking what is not theirs. Join the dictators and have a second class life because you dont qualify for the A team. Eastern Europe clamoring to join the A team because they lived for decades under the Russian led B team, but wanted a better life, a free life, a better quality of life.

BRICS hoping to lure a couple of nations with a relatively clear slate to lend them the legitimacy the dont have under autocratic rule and the new Empire builders Russia and China crave to have.

Those who join will eventually leave, it is inevitable. Once they get true democracy and freedom and are able to qualify for the A team by taking steps to end corruption and nepotism. BRICS is like USSR 2.0 but under Chinese leadership rather than Russian. A failure already.

Wishful thinking, US the one with military bases everywhere, busy threatening the world with wars.

Democracy and Freedom, tell that to the US satellite Ukraine or most US voters. It's called Oligarchy Special Interest Democracy, hardly free or lacking in corruption.

Turns out most societies like strong stable leadership, that promotes core values, US, KEY reason why, the lack of core values there. Please share with JT all these great new Democracies. US satellite Democracy dying rapidly.

Russia people on a much better path than US, and Putin will ensure his successors continue his legacy to build a multi-polar world and de-dollarize.

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

US the one with military bases everywhere, busy threatening the world with wars.

What a joke. US is threatening nobody with war, unlike China, and its lap dog Russia is already invading a neighbor.

Russia and China the poster children for repression, lies and places people DONT rush to live in. The world knows where true freedom is and it is Western Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand that oppressed people rush to.

Turns out most societies like strong stable leadership, that promotes core values,

So that rules out Russia and China who lie to their people even more than they lie to the outside world.

US, KEY reason why, the lack of core values there.

US is far from perfect, but with democracy being interfered with by Russia and others putting false information and lies creating conspiracy theories where none exist, it may seem like it is weakening. But it is not.

Please share with JT all these great new Democracies. US satellite Democracy dying rapidly.

As despots fail, as Autocrats get over thrown, democracies become the government of choice for hope for a better life.

In your wet dreams. The Russian and Chinese economies are collapsing faster than the United States.

It sounds like Trump's roadmap (just read the title of this article)

Nevalney illustrated that Putin had stolen billions of dollars from the Russian people, so he doesn't need a pension plan.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Putin is estimated to be worth more than $200 billion. Where did it come from?

2 ( +3 / -1 )

He's just another diminished man - there are a slew of these non-entities that contribute nothing to the enlightenment of humanity. They are petty nihilists. In an ideal world we would be rid of them.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

What absolute garbage journalism. Putin has rivals, Putin has opposition. And of course Putin has a successor.

Who writes this bilge....

Dr Robert Person is an Associate Professor of International Relations at the United States Military Academy and director of West Point’s curriculum in International Affairs.

I see.... a NATO propagandist think tank.

If President Putin truly had the majority of the Russian people confidence, open government means Navalny would be alive debating with Putin on broadcast media.

That's great because the yield curve is still negative and according to the gaslight this means we are no longer dependent on scummy countries. Wins all around.

I don't see a power vacuum after his death like the author describes it. I would agree so far, that the prime minister Miskhustin doesn't have any potential or chance. That guy of course has a sudden window accident while the deceased body is still warm. lol But there are of course quite some figures in the pipeline , for example hard-liner and with presidential experience , Medvedev, then not to ignore the soul twin and private friend Shoigu, then of course one of the most probable options, Patrushev , a former FSB boss and now head of state security council, or someone else from FSB, GRU etc, then there are also other possibilities like someone even much more radical or war-affin from the extreme nationalist wing and near political parties. And finally, if there is still any doubt left or really any missing scenario or too much undecided rivalry, simply the military will take over and establish an army led dictatorship.
