Nepotism is never a good thing in business.

The split emerged over a disagreement on who should succeed the Prophet Mohammed, who died in 632.

Some felt his successor should be chosen from among his followers, while others—the “Shiite Ali” or Partisans of Ali—believed the position should stay within the prophet’s family and that Mohammed had backed his cousin Ali for the post.

Honestly, is this all it's about?

What a horrible waste of effort.

They all should be ashamed.

How absurd. 2016?

Science? Ahh, reading?

Come on! THIS! For f sakes! FOR THIS!?

The children? For this? For shame.

Why so surprised KCJapan?

Simply replace Sunnis/Shia with let's say :

Trump Shia-tea Guns Republican Etc

It's easy to understand when emotions take over logic and cloud the mind of balanced rational thought.

There are many untold facts here for example:

Shiite insults the 3 Caliph before Ali while Sunni never insults Ali.

Shiite have practise 'taqiyyah' which means fraud/deception in their life while Sunni take it as a wrongdoing / sin.

Some of shiite practices are deviated from Islam and have been created by the Imams. While Sunni practices what have been thought by the prophet only. That is the reason Shiite is not recognised as Muslim by some Sunni scholars.

A friend of a friend was stopped by a group of kids in 1970s Belfast:

"Are you a Catholic or a Protestant?" they asked.

"I'm a Muslim," came his reply.

Determined to beat someone up that day, they continued: "but are you a Catholic Muslim or a Protestant Muslim?"

In my all-boys high school, the coach divided us into two groups, for the sake of sports competition: we were either Mohawks or Apaches. One group didn’t associate with the other and fist fights between the two sometimes broke out. And outside school, one was either a Ford person or a Chevy person, as we recklessly drag-raced one another, putting innocent people in harms way.

Let us hazard a guess: You are a Sunni?

The ironic thing is that the Muslim extremists call westerners infidels, while the western extremists describe Muslims as infidels (without actually using the world), and neither side realizes they are as bad as those they decry.

Thanks for that Wc626. Unfortunately my message got taken down as "vulgar/offensive." I must have fallen asleep and woken up in Iran.
