The current PRC regime is based on criminality and dictatorship, not any sort of Daoist teaching.

I live on the island of Taiwan. The current situation is similar to the famed "water torture" effect. Drop by drop, the CCP is infiltrating ROC society. Either the electorate will wake up and recognize the threat, or it will succumb to the "drops" of complacency and lose it all.

Fulfilling "inherent potential" might be hard to discern in any situation - easy enough when it is water running downhill, but who is to say about other things? Maybe it is not about will to overcome opponents at all. I can agree that it is a vital concept and that humanity must fulfill inherent potential. But we need to think on a much bigger level than what is good for China, or the Chinese Communist Party, or Emperor Pooh, and either they are incapable of doing this or Dao really has no effect on their thinking.

There is nothing Daoist in the CCP, it's super Confucian.
