This is good news, people who are doing nothing wrong have nothing to fear; it is the criminals and pedophiles who crave anonymity protected by privacy laws.

Who is watching the government?

No problem. Depopulated, aging and stupid as they all are or still soon become, they have more and more data but less and less staff and resources to benefit or draw useful conclusions from it all. They will suffocate from their overall surveillance and collected data mountains. I would even invite them for 24/7 video and audio voyeurism, just for fun and to see them accelerated disappear like their predecessors from USSR and Eastern European secret police who already have long time gone into the nirvana of history books, although they were even more brutal and data collection addicted to save their oppressive regimes. No success at all. They are just away as if they haven’t ever existed.
