Everyone just stop giving them anything. It's economically tough for everyone right now. Let them suffer. Either they learn to play by the rules with the rest of the world or they collapse. Either outcome is fine. Disband the 6-party talks on the grounds that it's pointless. Make them come begging for talks.

it's hard to ignore the plight of millions of suffering N Koreans, but nothing else seems to work anyway. i agree with you OssanAmerica. the cycle has to be broken, otherwise this thing could go on forever.

I think this old dude with the bad hair style is just trying to save face, honor and make some kind of last heroic stand. Good luck! While millions of poor North Koreans starve everyday and have to live in such a backwards country where even the Chinese who go and visit say something, wow, our country used to be this backwards too!

Why do they have to listen to begin with?

Let the Koreans figure out their own problems. =Everytime Japan talks about NK they just make the situation worse. Please don't encourage negative behavior.
I believe it's a Korean issue and SK needs to step up to the plate and deal with it.

The DPRK should be kicked out from the U.N. I am dreaming, because U.N has lost its founding principle long ago. S.Kora and China should help to remove the dictatorship thus bring freedom to N.Korean people. I am dreaming again to count on the selfish and opportunistic communist China.

Pure evil can only be fought with pure evil! I'd say nuke that country! Wipe this ugly smudge from the face of the earth! And after that continue right away with those hypocrites called China!

Actually it's not hard at all - when you are dealing with a petulant child you sometimes have to show tough love - - time for China to ween this retarded cousin of the tit...
It's really shameful when you consider the 1,000,000 TONS of fuel in return for shutting down their nuke facilities and I assume that now that the oil has been delivered and or the cold hard winter is over that they are reneging on the deal...

China and Iran gave them the rocket technology so they need to come clean and stop supplying NK. All they can do is march and yell threats, so let them march, let them yell. If there was ever a country that deserves to be ignored, it's North Korea. By concentrating on China and Iran instead, it removes NK's chances of being armed or receiving any further diplomatic support.

Build up nuclear reactors and develop missile/nuclear technology, piss other countries off, negotiate for free fuel (showing a ray of hope for "improvement" at the same time), receive free fuel, build up nuclear reactors and develop missile/nuclear technology, piss other countries off, negotiate for free fuel (showing a ray of hope), receive free fuel, etc. etc.... is it me, or is it pretty damn clear what Kim is trying to do here???

The old boy told junior that if the country was goin' down he's to take everyone with him.
I think NK might be headin' towards glowin' in the dark for the next fifty-thousand years.

That's a good idea. And if one day NKorea collapses and SKorea is saddled with the costs of unification, they should remember not to ask Japan for any money or help either.

I'm with the ignore this country crowd. Time to cut them off for good.

Well it looks like SKOrea's had it with NKOrea. They finally jolined PSI (Proliferation Securty Initiative) after 5 years as observer only. We should be be hearing the usual screaming about "war" from NKOrea shortly.

This little mutant is like a little annoying dog that barks at everything on the other side of the screen door. I wish someone would open the darn door and squash him under their foot.
