Time to make masks mandatory? It's not just a U.S. debate

I remember they had to plead with people not to buy masks. Now they're threatening people with jail time if they don't wear a mask. This is stupidity at it best. Why would anyone think a mandate is necessary?

Now been made mandatory in all public transport, shops and supermarkets. Not in offices which is probably a mistake.
