I've found the changeover of CNN to 24 hour talk show disappointing but there is a point to be made that nothing else in the world matters as much.

Absolutely not surprising.

Today there is no such thing as political "news" from any "news" organization or website.

EVERY "news" website promotes opinion and propaganda as "news" and moderates its comment board based on its own inherent biases.

This is true whether it is CNN, Fox News..... or even Japan Today.

Not just Americans and not just politics. The news is the most toxic content out there at the moment.

Between the politicians and the activists, watching or reading the news is like suffering a weird form of abuse.

TV news channels are the worst. Misery 24/7. They should broadcast the number of the Samaritans every hour.

True. It is still possible to get news content by finding direct sources and independent commentators, but of course it is easier to just immerse in one of the mainstream propaganda bubbles.

Many non-Americans would also love to see less 'news' about the upcoming election. We are confronted with it 24/7 but it has nothing to do with us, we have no say in who gets elected and anyway, nothing will change, no matter who becomes President.

I watch a lot of YT content in the day about USA politics, it has reached the point where all the channel show the same excerpts regardless of any real news. 90% of them are now soooooo boring and pointless, and it is mostly the MSM behind them all.

Way to much!

Understand the most politically volatile dangerous verbal gaseous vapours, never to be placed in the vicinity of each other, liable to spontaneous combust in destructive lying, falsehood and hypocrisy?

Hydrogen Trump and Harris Hydroxide,

Follow strict political misuse protocols if in danger of close contact resulting in "debate".

The immediate danger is an extreme adverse impact of psychological metal health physical welfare, that could render provoke assault, ridicule, manipulation, resulting in most cruel belittling behaviours.

Many of my neighbors are Republicans, MAGA or mainstream, but we get along just fine. That is the way it should be.

As for the occasional young men decking out their pick-up trucks in huge TRUMP flags and driving down the freeways, that is akin to posting comments on the internet in all bold letters. They are offensive and annoying, with their message taking a back seat to their lack of taste.

Yeah, kind of like nose rings blue hair and me me me tattoos.

Sounds great.

Which independent commentators would you recommend?

Thanks in advance.

This condition will probably be over if Trump loses in November and accepts defeat. If not, it could go on for years.
