"If President Donald Trump were anyone else, he'd be fired..."

We're working on it. A special presidential election in 2018 to oust the whole crew of conscienceless excretory ports would be ideal because, even when we fire the chief sphincter, the robotic kneejerk ideological robots next in line might prove even worse for us and the World. Whatever one might think of her, an energetic and angry and tough Black woman with 8 years of POTUS experience would make a HUGE difference to the welfare of the U.S. and to all of those in the rest of the world who must deal with us and our pathological greed.

If Trump did work for anyone else, he might well have been fired. But as anyone who has worked for a boss knows, the boss does the firing. Trump has always been the boss, and has been free to hire and fire at will. He was hired by the voters last November, and if they want to fire him, they'll get their chance in 2020.

But many Americans seem to like Trump for his bluntness, or crudeness. They dislike the politically-correct culture in Washington were people speak politely, but seldom tell the truth, and never reveal their true feelings. The terms "blunt" and "crude" are often used to describe the truth, which can be painful, while speaking in a "diplomatic" or "polished" style makes people feel good, but often means the speaker is either being dishonest, or trying to avoid telling the truth.

If Trump continues to be a thorn in the side of Washington, and the media, which many people trust as little as politicians, we may be reading Trump's tweets until 2024.

As for Scarborough and Brzezinski, they have been free with their opinions of Trump and his administration, and turnabout is fair play. Clinton, Bush, and Obama preferred to turn the other cheek when reporters threw barbs at them, which has made reporters more bold and less responsible than they used to be. They see themselves as the "voice of America" with the power to manipulate public opinion rather than doing their job, which is to objectively report the facts. But they are not the voice of America, they are the voices of their corporate masters, whom Trump told to go $%&# themselves in the run up to the election. Thecace you see on the screen on Fox, CNN, and CNBC with the makeup and nice hair are just talking heads, and on the rare occasions you see them thinking and speaking for themselves, you realize that they are idiots.
