The national debt increased by $8.6 trillion over two terms. Trump $7 trillion over one term.

Under President Obama, the national debt grew the most in dollar terms ($8.6 trillion) and was fifth by percentage at 74%. Obama fought the Great Recession with an $831 billion economic stimulus package and added $858 billion through tax cuts. Even though the fiscal year 2009 budget was set by President Bush, Obama added to it with the Economic Stimulus Act in 2009.

The economy was in a bad state when Obama became president. The financial crisis of 2008 was not his doing.

Yes, you were wrong...

So you’re finally acknowledging what Holder said.

Barr: 'If even half of it is true, then he's toast'

”If” is right.

Sure, keep telling yourself that...

Not just me, I know liberals want to believe what they want but…

And what pray tell was the devastating act that happened in this timeperiod?

From 2010-2015 the Administration's significant shortcoming was its inability to control government spending and reduce the burdensome national debt inherited from the Bush era. While acknowledging the mess inherited is common for US presidents, Obama's approach didn't involve tackling the crises directly. Rather than addressing the pressing issues, he opted to downplay the significance of the debt by accumulating more and funding Democratic Party priorities. That’s just the tip of the iceberg

Brings up Eric Holder who hasn't been around since 2016

Wrong.

Yes, you were wrong...thanks for admitting it..

It takes more than 4 years to take a nation into such a bad shape.

From 2010-2015 was the catalyst that brought the demise of the Republic

Keep trying to convince yourself of that - even Barr and Turley think he will....

Not recently, not telling myself anything

Brings up Eric Holder who hasn't been around since 2016 then says "not recently".....ROFLX2....

Maybe they heard "You need an ID to buy bread"...

No, seal the border and drill.

Facing 91 charges? He'll be in jail at least until 2028...

He won’t be going to jail, even Eric Holder laughed at that notion.

Thanks to the failed policies of the Democrats and this administration in particular. We are definitely in bad shape.

Not obliged to.

The left is desperate and the right should be too,

The establishment should be, I agree.

The Repubs that actually win elections...or maybe Senators Dr Oz and Herschel Walker are keeping a real low profile...

because if it's just a choice of Biden or Trump this time around,

Trump 2024

Facing 91 charges? He'll be in jail at least until 2028...

the U.S is done for either way.

For me personally, I don't believe that he has a chance in hell this time around of beating Trump. If the dems really want to stop Trump they need to run someone else against him. Otherwise, I think a Trump Biden rematch will see Trump come out as heavyweight champ.

Alex Jones predicted on Tucker Carlson that Biden will be taken out before the election and so that he can be replaced with a candidate who stands a better chance of winning and is eligible for two terms. It is not clear that Trump will be in the race either with the legal troubles he is going through. Some also are concerned by the fact that Trump is also only eligible for a single term when two terms will be necessary to course correct the country. So perhaps in a year it will be Gavin Newsom vs. Vivek Ramaswamy for the win. Who knows? But what we all know is that 2024 will be yet another year of highly polarized drama.

“He says, ‘You’re not going to be a dictator, are you?’

The moment this question needs to be asked rational people should clearly understand there is something terribly wrong. Imagine a similar question being necessary when you are choosing a mechanic, doctor, lawyer...

You can tell the left are really desperate trying to push this issue.

One of the most dangerous and equally stupid men of the 21st century.

Biden will leave soon.

-9 ( +2 / -11 )

In 2016 you had two choose between two villains. First forward to 2024, you've got two similar choices once again, villain or villain.

That third world country keeps falling from the inside out.

"I'll be a dictator on Day #1"...

“If I happen to be president and I see somebody who’s doing well and beating me very badly, I say, ‘Go down and indict them,'"

Last December, he mused about circumventing the Constitution, arguing that the election fraud he alleges "allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution.”

Trump's own words...and even though he rarely follows through and does what he promises, we can't have someone this anti-democratic, this filled with hate, this unbalanced anywhere near our levers of government power...

If we do, it means 250 years of democracy and freedom down the drain...

11 ( +12 / -1 )

While I agree with posters above, I feel that Biden has shot himself in the foot with his abysmal handling of the Gaza crisis. His veto of a ceasefire has incensed a lot of people and I don't think he understands just how much he has damaged himself by cozying up to the Israeli PM. For me personally, I don't believe that he has a chance in hell this time around of beating Trump. If the dems really want to stop Trump they need to run someone else against him. Otherwise, I think a Trump Biden rematch will see Trump come out as heavyweight champ.

If he gets in democracy is finished, because, by his own assertions for years, it is all rigged anyway, so it must have been rigged for him and nobody can ever really accept his legitimacy. Given that he will be illegitimate in the eyes of even his own party, which also claimed the system is rigged repeatedly, then he will have to reign by force and coercion to compensate. Of course, the fascists and moneyed elite won't mind.

For solving one or a very few problems there, he probably might need some minutes overtime work on that exceptional one day. LOL

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

It's like when the genie gives you three wishes: you just keep wishing for more wishes until the whole presidency is a dictatorship.

11 ( +12 / -1 )

Threats from within? Yes, he is the that threat.

14 ( +15 / -1 )

Be afraid, very afraid. Trump and his hypnotized minions will strip Democracy bare. The very mean-spiritedness of the sect is an indication of things that shouldn't come. I'd vote for Fred Flintstone before I would Trump.
