Every liberal state worth its salt will hold the line on this as a matter of principle: give this administration an inch and they will take a mile.

Nothing this Moron does "sticks" - except his own stench...

From WaPo: Roughly half of Americans don't have passports, according to the State Department. Very few Americans have the other docs that are accepted, like Real ID.

Experts say this would be an extraordinary inconvenience that is not commensurate with evidence. Republicans have spent years warning about the possibility of undocumented people voting as a reason to tighten voting laws. But it's rare and already illegal.

He wants to require voters to show proof that they are U.S. citizens before they can register for federal elections, count only mail or absentee ballots received by Election Day, set new rules for voting equipment and prohibit non-U.S. citizens from being able to donate in certain elections.

Bascially he wants to make voting harder so that he can stay in power longer. Invoking inexistant fraud and abude. Textbook autocrat behavior. And his loyal otakus lap it up like milk (because they are dumb).

Will the First Lady have to show proof of American citizenship?

Trump's richest supporters are already plotting to keep in power for a third term.

Trumps landslide victory actually was about 35% of eligible voters voting for him .

Well, a lot higher, but be that as it may, regardless, a win is a win, and percentages don't matter; you either won or you didn't; that's it.

Trump is turning American elections into the same form as Russia.

Hello dictatorship.

But trump supports the right for felon’s to vote? Got it.

Unfortunately, trump and Vance’s spouses will no longer be able to vote. They are aliens.

Trump age, 78 years, June 14, 1946 is his achilles heel, the stress will inevitably have a cognitive decline.

No, heaven forbid the third term, not sure if that is constitutional, I think so.

Besides, JD Vance, the smiling political assassin, is lurking, waiting for the moment to wheel Trump off to reminisce over denture friendly cottage pie with Joe Biden.

On grumble pond.

No, because no one is being arrested, put in jail or assassinated....wait a minute...

No, only Americans. Melania is a naturalized citizen, and Usha was born in San Diego, CA.

Yes, in the form of JD Vance.

Non US citizens have been prohibited from Federal elections since 1787. That's 238 years.

What really needs to be done is to prohibit Convicted Felons from running for any office in Federal elections.

without election day being a national holiday for everyone, it doesn’t work. it’s impossible when you consider all of the people who have no choice but work, people in emergency services , hospitals, schools, daycare centers, the list is too long.

one third of eligible voters don’t vote. not enough poll locations, political maneuvering to make some areas wait 5 hours or more in line to limit voting from an area,

there is more corruption in ability to vote than vote counting or ineligible voters. is that any way to run a democracy? no, because politicians don’t want a democracy or a fair and efficient election system, they want to cheat any way they can to win.

It times to.put the DOJ under court supervision, they have no. special protection , because they are dependent on the judiciary and act at the mercy of judges

Ok, please let's deal with reality now.

Regarding EO's, many being challenged in courts and in important areas, like voting will end up before SCOTUS.

DJT made election integrity a big deal while running for office. Most US Voters like the idea of safe, secure and fair elections with ONLY US citizens voting. Without election integrity, Democracy is at real risk most agree.

Many states have Voter ID laws already requiring proof of citizenship, while some states forbid such ID and open up their local elections to non-citizens, like NY and CA.

Seems very likely SCOTUS will have a big say DJT election integrity EO in their next term starting in Oct.

PS. Above my opinion ONLY, hoping to add to this discussion so we can all better understand.
