wow, it is really weird for a non-american that never had a particular interest in their politics to find out how anti-democratic it actually is, now I understand better why so much effort was necessary to dethrone Trump.

The US thrived positively as never before in history under Trump.

He will be back in office.

One problem with America though is the number of people who feel they are entitled to things without working for them outnumbers those who believe in traditional American values.

What makes Trump's first election so incredible is that GOP voters were able to overcome the socialist-policy driven Democratic Party voters.

African Americans, Native Americans, Asian Americans--all reached the highest standard of living ever in the USA.

You are living in a completely different reality. It's not even funny anymore, just scary.

Under true democracy the republicans will never be elected. So they have chosen the option to undermine, weaken and move to dismantling democracy in the US. And other despots around the world will follow suit.

You must be too young to remember how good the economy was during the Clinton administration. No wars squeezing the budget and the last two budgets were balanced with small surpluses. The national debt was 69% of GDP when Mr. Clinton took office. Eight years later it was 59% of a larger GDP when he left office.

Absolutely not too young, and loved Clinton.

The Balkan Wars did take place during his admin and US non-military aid was a few billion. Trump did not start any wars, and had to carry the burden of troops in the MidEast from Bush' war, which Obama also carried over.

US standing in the world was much stronger under Trump, and North Korea, Iran, Russia, and China were kept in check.

What a ridiculous article. People keep saying that Orange is threat to democracy with no evidence provided. And then use it to crack down on the ordinary Joe’s rights

Most of the whole world actually thought Trump was a dangerous buffoon and a complete idiot.

He will be back in office.

No he won’t. Have to say I agree with Jsapc, you do not exist in a fact-based reality.

Trump was and is a moron. His entire life is built on a lie, the lie that he is a self-made man.

He lost. He’s not coming back.

What a ridiculous article. People keep saying that Orange is threat to democracy with no evidence provided.

He literally told a mob of his supporters to storm Congress in order to prevent the peaceful transfer of power after he lost an election. And then they violently attacked it and tried to execute his own VP in order to prevent the democratic process from functioning.

What more evidence do you need? I really have trouble hypothesizing evidence that could be any clearer and more unambiguous than that, and that is only Exhibit A out of about a million others.

It is interesting that even under this Biden administration, libs still are triggered by Trump. People forget easily what got Trump elected in the first place.

He 'll be back.

The title of this article shows the strong support Trump has. To argue otherwise shows one does not exist in a fact-based reality.

No one has forgotten, even though we are trying, very, very hard. But when you are LGBTQIA, you tend not to forget about the bigotry that exists in this world for very long.

He 'll be back.

I don't think one should be proud about supporting a lying, misogynistic, homophobic bigot who also has delusions of grandeur. But hey, that's me.

In the republican party yeah.

In the rest of America and the whole world, he's about as popular as herpes.

“We have to face the facts that Republicans — obviously with exceptions — have become an authoritarian party,” said Steven Levitsky, a Harvard political scientist and co-author of the book “How Democracies Die.” “It’s impossible to sustain a democracy in a two-party system when one of the parties is not willing to play by the rules of the game.”

Truth. There is no Republican Party anymore - they have abandoned all their conservative values and are now the Insurrectionist Party - a radicalized cult of personality formed around one megalomaniac leader...

It is interesting that even under this Biden administration, libs still are triggered by Trump.

Can't trigger much when you've been banned from social media for lies and hate speech...and how about that successful blog, huh?

People forget easily what got Trump elected in the first place.

No, the Mueller report and the Senate Select Intel Committee showed it was clearly Putin...

He 'll be back.

Maybe...after serving his 5-8 year sentence for tax and insurance fraud...

Really?!?!?

The irony in that statement is overwhelming.
