you will have to wait until the details of the charges are released but I predict there will be federal ones.

Yeah, I think after so many years and investigations from a slew of prosecutors that have gone back and forth on these charges, it doesn’t seem much other than misdemeanor trying to get bumped up to a felony, if they had something serious on Trump they would have arrested him a long, long time ago. 50% of drunk driving charges are dropped, 45% of physical assaults are dropped, more than a 1./3 of murderers either are released early and or get house arrest, real crimes, it just gives validity that Bragg looks more like apolitical hack.

Trump's indictment papers are sealed.

We know that.

We don't know what the charges will be been.

We don't, but possibly more straw-grabbing expired misdemeanors.

It is believed some are federal charges which are not misdemeanors.

Yeah, we keep hearing that as well, even Jeb Bush called BS on the charges and thinks it's all politically motivated.

If Trump broke the law then it is right he is charged

> If he did, but being a misdemeanor and when you add 87% of NYC didn’t vote for him, his long feud with Nadler and see what he’s been trying do for almost 30 years, Bragg won’t arrest criminals in his city things look a bit more sneaky and malicious.

Bragg won’t arrest criminals in his city

Bragg was involved in over 100 indictments just the same as Trump's since '22. Trump is simply one more piece of meat to prosecute for tax fraud and the name Trump does not mean anything to him (and the grand jury). Trump people refuse to look at the facts of the case and just focus on Hillary and her 300,000 emails. A bunch of cry babies and life is just not fair.

Anyone that thinks Trump’s case isn’t politically motivated

You can't pay off a hooker then write it off as a legal/tax expense. Bragg did over 100 of these since 2022 and Trump is not special regarding this case.

Hillary’s loyalist

Trump people NEVER address the facts of the case. They just say Hillary/Hunter/Liberals/Soros. That's not helping Trump. And it was not Bragg. It was the grand jury. Edwards got busted out. But he was a good client, listened to his lawyers and got off. Trump's mouth is doing him more harm than good since the court is NOT FOX/Tucker show.

Anyone who thinks Trump is being politically prosecuted should ask the Central Park 5 what they think about that position.

Anyone that thinks Trump’s case isn’t politically motivated ask two of Hillary’s loyalist supporters law professors Dershowitz and Turley, even Jeb Bush of all people think this case politically motivated.

Trump used more than $100 million of campaign funds for his private use.

For his Defend America scam, Trump raised 200 million. Uses his donations for his own needs.

If only they would go after every other politician that did the same, Washington would be a very empty place.

Go to jail, go directly to jail, do not pass go, do not collect 200 dollars.

Predicting an election 19 months away seems like a waste of time and energy.

I think this definitely boosts Trump's chance at winning the GOP leadership.

That's a good thing, as he lost last time by a landslide, and has not only done nothing to increase his popularity, he held an insurrection which decreased it. And this time, he won't even be in a position of leadership to be able to try to steal it.

His god-status has been shattered. Teflon Don is no longer. This is like when Xerxes gets a cut in his eye at the end of 300 - it doesn't kill him, but suddenly his people see he's no good, and truth, reality, and facts, are forced upon them, and him.

The emperor wears no clothes.

Trump has reportedly raised over $4 million dollars in the 24 hours after his indictment. Free t-shirt for those donating $49.

Even Biden can't get a T-shirt, good or bad. LOL

Calm down. Focus.

I'm always calm, buddy.

4M is nothing to a multi-billionaire.

It's a lot when it comes to starting to fundraise, especially in the short amount of time since this so-called indictment was announced.

stealing their right to choose a President. But sadly, it’s backfiring fast.

Calm down. Focus. 4M is nothing to a multi-billionaire. He has a private jet. Scroll up to my post about this 8 years ago.

I’m always calm.

Biden is just making a few extra dollars.

Seems like it from what’s been coming out.

All politicians do it, right?

Not like this.

Donald steals from people,

Seems like that’s what the Dems are trying to do now to Americans, stealing their right to choose a President. But sadly, it’s backfiring fast.

we are seeing more and more evidence

Who is "we"- a grand jury or Tucker? A grand jury doesn't care what Tucker thinks. Trump seems to be going down not because of what the Clinton News Network says. But what a grand jury says. This is (possible) conviction number 118 for Bragg for this type of crime and considering the first 117, what makes Trump special? The grand jury is following the facts of the case (the evidence) and not CNN.

a big money scheme operation between the CCP and the Biden family.

Fine! Give it to a grand jury. Hunter is not protected by the presidency like Joe is. See what the grand jury says about Hunter. Bust him if he committed a crime.

think it’s a political persecution.

Trump is not president now (did they forget to announce this on FOX?)

Biden is just making a few extra dollars. All politicians do it, right? Donald steals from people, Joe from the CCP. It's all good, just relax a little. Focus. This is how things work. Scroll up.

Rubbish

No, that’s why they spent 4 years trying to undo a duly elected President, the Feds failed and still they tried. In a normal world, No human would be perused by this, even the Ecuadorian, and Mexican President think it’s a political persecution.

Stormy came out with a blinder today saying how she is ready to face Trump in court.

Good, even the former creepy porn lawyer that represented her thinks the case against is beyond weak, I mean, he should know given his personal past.

"I've seen him naked. There's no way he could be scarier with his clothes on"

Bur she still slept with him, and took the money, explains who she is, so a bit of an oxymoron there.

What a pile of waffling flatulence

No, with everyone coming out of the investigation into Biden and his dealings with China and we are seeing more and more evidence of what seems to be a big money scheme operation between the CCP and the Biden family.

*Trump critics HOPE indictment will boost nomination bid. If he’s nominated it improves Uncle Joe’s re-election chances.*

Doubt it, 75% of the nation feels the country is headed in the wrong direction, 58% of the Dems don’t want him to run and with the border, inflation, cost of food, and geopolitical problems mounting with China, Russia, if anything it’s going to worsen his chances.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

Detractors worry that if Trump were cleared in a campaign-finance case similar to the prosecution that Democrat John Edwards defeated in 2012, it could make it easier to cast any future indictment as a "witch hunt."

Everything that happens to a political figure is cast as political without any consideration. Tbh, the indictment isn't about anything new, how long ago was Cohen indicted? And this is just individual 1 of the same case.

Who exactly wasn't going to vote Trump, but due to this "witch hunt" decides to vote Trump anyways, just plain silly.

If they went after people that did what Trump did, They couldn't build enough prisons.

WRONG

Bragg has prosecuted this type of case over 100 times.

The false business records charge is the bread and butter of the district attorney’s office white-collar practice: Since Mr. Bragg took office in 2022, prosecutors have filed 117 felony counts of the charge, against 29 individuals and companies, according to data kept by the office

News quote

There is nothing special about Trump and no one is above the law. Notice one thing about Trump people is they NEVER attack the legal facts about the case. It's always about Bragg/Hillary emails/Liberals/Hunter. Nothing about the facts of the case. Again, Trump paying off a hooker is not a crime. Writing off as legal expense is. In 2016 when Stormy was shaking Trump down, why didn't he just go to the FBI?

Looking forward to Trump making America--and the world--safe again.

Hilarious.LOL

This whole situation is funny! Trump tried to fly to close to the sun!

Hmmm

The irony is:

1) Trump's former lawyer has already went to prison for his involvement in this crime.

Then don't lie to congress 7 times while under OATH

2) Trump, the most boastful person in the US,

That's your opinion, my opinion is different as well as millions of other Americans'.

got prosecuted by a lawyer named "Bragg".

Who won't even prosecute real crimes in his city, like murder, rape, assaults .

3) Trump, who is notorious for not paying his debts for decades, is finally getting indicted for paying a pornstar hush money and lying about it on his taxes!

For a misdemeanor? If they went after people that did what Trump did, They couldn't build enough prisons.

Let's not forget that there are also investigations about his involvement in Jan 6, the attempt to overturn Biden's victory in Georgia, and the theft of classified documents from the US government.

Yeah, good luck with that one as well.

The only people who want Trump re-elected are the people who want the US to fail while satisfying their own greed.

It is failing, why do you think so many people are fleeing blue states?

Best Examples of people and groups who support Trump: Iran, Russia, NK, China, and Trump fans and sycophants! There are a lot of grifters like George Santos(s) out there just waiting for Trump to take office again.

Ok, now let's back to reality for just a moment. ROFL!

Me too. Things everywhere will be a lot safer when Trump is behind bars in an orange jumpsuit making license plates at Rikers Island next to his CFO Weissellberg...

People on Chinese social media say Trump's indictment embarrassed the US and made China look so good, he should just join the Chinese Communist Party

Another failed attempt at humor. Geez....

No, Trump was and remains a clear threat to the United States of America.

For the establishment swamp rats and the lobbyists, he is, and that's a very, very good thing.

I can't help but notice that as usual, Barron has no interest in what is going on.

He was a little kid then, most kids don't care about anything at that age, Obama's girls, Chelsea Clinton, no difference.

"Even now, we see Trump's Republican competitors, such as former Vice President Pence, actively defending him in this scandal instead of using it to attack him for his own gain," he told AFP. "This indicates that Trump's GOP rivals fully understand how his base has an unshakable cult-like devotion to him, one that isn't letting up any time soon."

That "cult-like devotion" is sure on display here every day....

The guy can brag about "grabbing" women, payoff a porn star, praise Putin and Xi, incite an insurrection, have dinner with a Neo-Nazi and an anti-Semite, make a racial slur against his former transportation Secretary, and hustle them for money every day - and they still worship him...

This indictment, and the others forthcoming, may raise his popularity within the cult - but that's only about 25% of Americans - the rest are disgusted by his lies, crudeness and criminality...

There's no escaping he's going to jail - even hard core Repubs like Bill Barr say the DOJ has him "dead to rights" on the classified steal and stash....
