that largely ignores broad swaths of voters — independents, suburban women and people of color

People of colour had some of the lowest unemployment rates under the Trump Presidency.

The lower-than-expected turnout at the comeback rally, in particular, left Trump fuming.

From what I understand there were certain elements that had fraudulently booked to attend and never showed.

Nor did Trump mention George Floyd, the African American man whose death at the hands of Minnesota police late last month sparked a national uprising over police brutality.

With all the rioting and looting over the hard core arrest of a career criminal may make bring more voters to Trump especially seeing the bulk of these riots took place in Democrat States or Cities.

Flashback to 2016: We'll be winning so much, you're gonna get sick of winning.

Irrelevant. Entrance was first come first served, tickets were unlimited. There were other reasons why it wasn't full apart from cheeky K-pop teenagers. Maybe it was because that Trump had told people that wearing masks would make them unwelcome?

It appears that of the "1 million" who booked, only 6,000 were actual Trump supporters. As ClippetyClop states, it did not stop Trump supporters from booking or turning up.

And while the hoax bookers had no intention of turning up, there was no fraud - they just registered but did not turn up on the day.

“There’s really only one strategy left for him, and that is to propel that rage and anger and try to split the society and see if he can have a tribal leadership win here,” former Trump adviser-turned-critic Anthony Scaramucci said on CNN's “Reliable Sources.”

Quite correct. Unlike normal politicians, Trump does not try to have the broadest appeal, but rather focuses on a minority of the electorate, emphasizing division not unity, and an approach based on conflict. He knows he does not need a majority of the electorate due to the bias of the US presidential electoral system, so is focused on his minority - particularly white, religious, non-college educated individuals.

There are probably not quite enough of them to secure a second election.

I'm sure most of them had intended to turn up and support him, but something important came up, like the need to wash one's hair on that day or a dental check-up appointment.

After the rally, the president berated aides over the turnout. He fumed that he had been led to believe he would see huge crowds in deep-red Oklahoma, according to two White House and campaign officials who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly about private conversations.

If this doesn't call for a 'Downfall' parody, I don't know what does.

...and a quick Google sees that somewhere has got there already :)

Notice the close in shot of one section of the stadium? That's an example of false reporting. No mention of social distancing?

Trump 2020!

That's great! I laughed. It fits perfect.

Trump's stadium at Tulsa is a representation of the remaining brain cells in his head.

Lol, that "close in" shot of one section of the stadium was what the whole upper half looked like. That is not false reporting at all. And why mention social distancing when there wasn't any among the lower half of the arena was elbow to elbow? The lack of seats in the upper half had NOTHING to do with social distancing.

Also, I don't think it was confirmed over a million people booked. Trump just said that over 1 million people called asking for tickets. Key words there are "Trump just said", not his campaign said, or the event ticket office said, or anyone that might have the real number of booked no shows. you can't take anything Trump says at face value.

He's going to a place in Arizona today that has a local mandate to wear masks due to the high infection rate. It would be great to see a local sheriff give him a ticket.

The news showed the yahoos lining up next to each other at another place with no masks.

his weekend rally in Oklahoma highlighted growing vulnerabilities

Pffft. Every time Biden opens his mouth it shows his vulnerability.

“There’s really only one strategy left for him, and that is to propel that rage and anger and try to split the society and see if he can have a tribal leadership win here,” former Trump adviser-turned-critic Anthony Scaramucci said on CNN's “Reliable Sources.”

Scaramucci? CNN's "Reliable Sources"? Bwahahahahahahahahaha!

“Donald Trump has abdicated leadership and it is no surprise that his supporters have responded by abandoning him,” Biden spokesperson Andrew Bates said.

Bates and the AP people who wrote this article are idiots.

Using that logic, how many brain cells does Biden, who has trouble drawing more than a few dozen people to his rallies, if he ever has any again, have? Ah hahahahahahahaha!

The only way Dems will win the election is if they CONTINUE to cheat. Sure they can falsely reserve all the tickets they want but in the end Trump will come out on top, AGAIN

Just look at that photo at the top - the perfect picture of a "Loser"....

Trump just got home from a trip to "Emptyville"....

I imagine he's headed to the bunker to commiserate...

Tune in to Trump's rally next week - at "NoOneHere City"...

Who needs a rally when your opponent is self-combusting....

Maybe if Trump is lucky he can fill half the arena next time instead of just one-third....

Too bad for them though, they'll all be in the ICU next month...

You're using that fake 6,200 number aren't you? It was closer to twice that. Hey, even 6,200 isn't bad for a pandemic and having to deal with hostile groups of protesters.

Too bad for them though, they'll all be in the ICU next month...

Dream on.

By the way what's up with Twitter deciding the president encouraging law and order is against their TOS?

I wouldn't call young Americans buying tickets to not show up as "cheating". That is young Americans that are too young to vote finding a way to take part. Asking China for help to win however,...…

Just goes to show the power of Chinese Tech... Seriously, are you all blind ? It maybe Trump today, but who tomorrow... someone you really like ?

The way forward:

Help the Chinese to dismantle the CCP.

Help N/S Korea reconcile their differences for the common good of Koreans

Help Russia to complete the migration towards a stable environment without internal Mafioso influences

Focus upon empowering people, rather than States within a Globally accepted framework of tolerance.

Stop destroying History - it's past and done - and there, as a reminder towards what made people Great at that time, but now less so... perhaps making people think, what really is "true" greatness.
